Star Wars Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader (Game Cube, 2001)

I really enjoyed this game, even though it ended too soon. Taking over after the Battle of Yavin, you lead Rouge Squadron for about a dozen missions, leading up to the final battle with the second Death Star. One of the really cool aspects of this game is the way the game changes witht the time of day. For example, in on level, during the day, you fly a Y-Wing, but when you fly at night, you fly a snowspeeder.

The graphics for this game are really nice, and it is almost like watching a movie. You really get sucked into the storyline. The blaster effects sound amazing, as do the ships themselves. The game takes very little time to load, and I experinenced no problems with frame rate, even during busy battles. The only problem I had with the game was the fact that it ended just too soon. I would have like more levels, or at least levels that were more open ended. That said, I would definetly buy this game again, and I look forward to unlocking all of the secret levels in this amazing game.
