Star Wars Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader (Game Cube, 2001)

Star Wars Rouge Squardon 2: Rouge Leader is another Awesome space shooter released by LucasArts. This one is for the gamecube.

This game takes you through Star Wars universe in a great way. You start at the Batttle of Yavin and work your way through to the final space battle at the second Death Star in Return of the Jedi.

You get to fly a number of the famous ships from the Star War's universe (A-wing, B-wing,Y-wings, Snowspeeders, and many more). LucasArts also provides voice acting from the origional actor that plays Wedge Antilles in the movies! Nothing like getting audio from Wedge as you are flying a mission.

This game makes you feel like you are either in the movies or reading one of the Rouge Squardon books.

I had this game originally when I had a GameCube and loved it. (This was one of the reasons that I got a GameCube). When I just got a Wii I decided that I needed this game again. It is a great game. Gameplay is simple to learn and lots of fun. replayability is definitely there - you will get many hours of enjoyment out of this. A must have for any Star Wars fan as well!

I bought this game as a gift for my son, who is 9. He loves Star Wars movies and games. This is a one player game where you can train or choose your mission (based upon movie scenarios). You get to fly a variety of fighters in the game as well. My son picked the game up easily, my husband and I could not get through the first level.

I've enjoyed playing Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader, but It very similar to other fighter pilot games. It's info on the Star Wars ships are fun for the average geek, and the missions and medals cause you to try and best yourself and your friends, but other than that it's not all that different from even games like Star Fox. So, I don't regret buying this game, but there is much better out there these days.

What a great Star Wars game ! great action and visuals. You get a great choice of ships to fly. The motion through the background could cause motion sickness, if you are prone to it. Game would only benefit if you could adjust the sensitivity for your control stick, as you can spend a lot of time getting accustomed to the rapid movement through 3 axis. In all though, highly recommended.

It's a great game, challenging. The best star wars flight game ever. Highly recommend it to any fan of the star wars video game series.

Great game. HArd to play at first but easy with game cheats. I would suggest dowloading the free game cheats so you can play all levels and enjoy the game to the fullest. It is still hard to complete the levels even with game cheats but you will spend hours trying to complete them.

This game looks very nice for a Gamecube game although it ends rather quickly. This game is exactly what most people wanted from the first Rogue Squadron on the N64 and creates a much wider battlefield to play in. But this leads to another problem. Without the targeting computer (which if you use too much you cant get any medals) its a little too difficult to spot a dark grey tie fighter flying around in space. And the targeting proton torpedoes make it almost impossible to hit structures. Yet aside from these difficulties, this is a well made game that can bring much enjoyment to many people, just don't pay more than $25 bucks for it...ever.

It's challenging, has mostly all the same ships that Rogue Squadron 3 has, The only thing I don't like about it is I've been stuck on a level quite some time so maybe it's too challenging but it's still a lot of fun. I bought it because of the 2 player mode in Rogue Squadron 3 is the same game so I wanted to play it in 1 player mode.

I liked the original Rogue Squadron for N64 and I recently bought a Wii, so I decided to get some Gamecube games that I missed out on, and this one was near the top of my list. Item is great, just as described.

I've had this game for about a month now. I'm no avid hardcore gamer, I'd say I only play a couple hours a week. But this game is great! You can try your way straight through each level and advance through the game just fine. Every level has its own exciting objectives that you have to manuver your way through to complete them. But the best part is the fact that you are awarded medals based on your in mission performance. This means that even tho you've played the level once and gotten through it, you can re-play it over and over again in order to gain a better medal for your gameplay (and ultimately use of any of your favorite crafts... x-wing, millenium falcon, tie fighter... on any level you choose). Even tho you're playing the same mission it keeps you gripped by the same amount of fun and excitment as the first time you played, only this time its a bit more difficult because your trying to shoot down all those tie fighters with 1 shot accuracy. Again, this is a great game that will have you pushing your way through just to see the next level while at the same time offering an outstanding re-play value that isnt found in most games. Goodluck, and use the force.

When i receive the game in my hands, i don't have any questions, i run to my GameCube, put the CD and turn on the game.
I stay very very happyfuly with the quality of the game.

I mean it's Geroge Lucas, the game is truly awesome.
I wanted to find a game that cointained just aircraft battle scenes, this is the one, it's difficult and very graphic, if you are a star wars fan you should get this item, I am on a very early stage of the game and so far I have enjoy every aspect of it.

Never treceived my idem I paid for no answer back on my letters no idem nothing. This person to me is a rip off and a cheat. He is a sad poor seller and should not be abile to sell on ebay.
