It was for son at age 6 and loving have a full set of his own to watch and enjoy. Great price and quaility - Not a fan but wife is and now he will be able to see how the movies came out in order vs renting.

I decided to buy the the prequel Trilogy because it was a good price and i have always liked star wars. Each movie comes with a bunch of extras and fun stuff. Some of the special features didnt want to play on my dvd player but that was ok. all of the movies played great.

It's true that no new material was released in this trilogy package, but it is great to be able to purchase the entire new trilogy in one item, especially seeing how thin it is. As for the movies themselves, they are Star Wars, which for me is quite enough reason to by them. Plus, the hours of bonus features are very engaging for all people, not just fans like me.

Great Set to go with my older origianl set. Great special effects. Love the Star Wars stories! Would recommend to anyone who is a Star Wars fan. If you liked the origianl Star Wars stories, you like these prequels too.

This is a great set of movies. Our VCR tapes were getting a bit ragged (our three kids love Star Wars) so we invested in this set as a Christmas present for the family.

New and extended scenes make this a must have for the dedicated SW fan!

This was the greatest because it answers questions that the Trilogy didn't answer. Some of the parts that were not in the Trilogy but are in the Prequel completes Star Wars viewing. At first I wasn't a Star Wars admirer but I started watching the movies with my grandson and I kept telling him that he had not watched all the Star Wars movies until he would watch the Prequel. He did not believe me so I purchased the Prequel and we watched it with open mouths. It was awesome. The parts that were not seen in Trilogy are very emotional, moving, and surprising. I do not regret buying the Prequel and I don't even own the Trilogy yet. However, I did prove my point to the Star Wars admirers with my family and friends. By the way, they are still talking about it and how surprised they were because they always thought that the Trilogy and Prequel were the same.

Very cool items for Star Wars fans and a must have!! So much extra features and just the greatest thing since sliced bread!

These movies are excellent and we enjoyed them very much but DON'T watch these movies first and then watch the original movies, as we did, because the advanced technology of the special effects in the prequel trilogy is so great that it makes the technology of the originals look bad.

I have loved all the Star Wars episodes, and had them all on vhs tape. I wanted the clarity of dvd. This was the perfect opportunity for me to own the "first" three movies of the six.

Our family has really enjoyed this adventure. I bought these videos for my 10 year old son for Christmas but it seems we all are interested in them. Great entertainment.

The greatest movies ever made. The originals were way ahead of their time, and the prequels were pushing the latest state of the art technologies. Can wait for the blu ray versions.
