Star Wars Legacy of the Force: Betrayal

Betrayal is the second book in the Legacy of the Force
arch. It is a softcover book that is written by Karen
Traviss.

This book is mainly focused around the possible upcoming
civil war between the Galactic Alliance and Corellia. You
also continue to see the fall of Jacen Solo and you get to
spend a lot of time exploring the character of Boba Fett
and the other Mandalorians! :)

The book deals with a number of interesting things. First
of all there is terrorism strikes on Coruscant. This results
in the creation of the Galactic Alliance Guard, or GAG. Of
course this group is run by Jacen Solo and his apprentice
Ben Skywalker. The best line I can remember is someone
explaining how Jacen likes to run around in a dark uniform
giving orders to shock troops, like his grandfather!

You are also introduced to Lumina, dark lady of the Sith. She
will be playing a larger roll in all the other books!

You also get introduced to Fett's family! A lot of character
development has gone into Boba Fett and the Mandalor's in this
book. I'm totally thrilled to see this development and I hope
to see more on this in the future. A big surprise is also shared
with Boba Fett.

Jacen continues to fall to the dark side of the force. You get
to see him test new powers and experience the past to see what
happened to his grandfather!

Wow. This series continues to impress me. Action, exploration
of character, and lots of fun. I am really enjoying watching
Jacen fall!
