Star Wars Galaxies was originally launched in 2003, and continued on with new content and expansion packs. In 2005, the MMO underwent a massive overhaul of the introductory chapters and overall game design, with fast-action gameplay and reinventions of the older play elements. This change was marked with the ending of the original release (the first "An Empire Divided" scenario pack) and the launch of this brand-new Starter Starter Kit, with entirely new concept playing through the game's first 30 levels.
