Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace (DVD, 2001, 2-Disc Set; English and Spanish Versions)

This film was a menace, all right. A menace to my brain! Where did it all go wrong? From the sub-par acting of Ani, to the crappy slap stick humor of Jar-Jar Binks (can someone say "child's marketing tool?") this film does nothing, but degrade the original three. And I am a Star Wars fan, but not an obsessive. I try to give acurate reviews, dispite the fact that I am a fan, on a film by film basis. Shame on you, George Lucas! The effects alone are the reason for bringing this review up from Poop, I mean Poor, to the Average I have given it. The effects were awesome, so what does that tell you.
