Improves the blockbuster multiplayer original with more space combat, playable Jedi, and more environments straight out of Star Wars: Episode III. The game features a single-player experience that takes players through an epic, story-based saga where every action the player takes impacts the battlefront and, ultimately, the fate of the Star Wars galaxy. The sequel features improved flight control, complex space combat that allows players to board enemy capital ships and battle to take over flying command posts or sabotage the ship to be used against the other faction, increased total online player numbers, and memorable multiplayer encounters in 12 locations.

  • Revamped single-player experience includes smarter ai enemies and allies, plus a greater emphasis on story told through open-ended mission-based objectives
  • Space battles allow you to dogfight in X-wings, TIE fighters, Jedi starfighters and several other starcraft, or fight it out on foot aboard an enemy capital ship; special opportunities throughout the game for players to wield a lightsaber and use their favorite force powers as a Jedi
  • More than 16 battlefronts on land and in space, including many from Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith such as Utapau, Mustafar and the space battle above Coruscant; classic trilogy locations including the Death Star interior, classic space battles and the fight aboard the Tantive IV, Princess Leia's blockade runner seen at the beginning of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope; online multiplayer action for up to 24 players on PS2, up to 32 on Xbox or up to 64 on PC Windows; created by critically acclaimed developer pandemic studios.

      The follow-up to the highly successful Battlefronts, this edition carries a few extras. There are additional maps and the addition of the "hero and villain" character allowing the player to play as such Star Wars staples as Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Yoda and more. The addition of space warfare allows even further hours of play. The AI can be stepped up and there are variants to allow free-style play or storyline. Overall a great game with few glitches.

      This game is everything that the first was plus so much more. The ability to play as a hero is great. There is also new additions of soldiers, which provides more options and allows you to earn weapon and health upgrades. Playing in space is great too. This game adds much of what the first was missing.
