Star Trek: The Original Series - Season Two (DVD, 2008, Remastered)

I could not find it at Hastins, Target, plus a few others, so I checked on EBay and not only found it, but purchased it at a very reasonable price. I plan to check Ebay first next time and save time, money and gas.

I was blown away by the enhanced graphics. If you loved the old dvd set, you will not be disapointed by the remastered set. I heard that Season Three will be out November 18. I can't wait.

I had first seen the remastered series on the UPN network. I was completely blown away. My father had bought the series when it first came out on DVD, but I wnated to wait. I had a hope that CBS/Paramount would clean up the original work and present it in a better format. When I found out they were actually generating all new effects, I was in joy. It was beyond my initial thoughts. And when I finally saw the finished work, I was amazed. Buyin these sets are what I was waiting for. Thank you to all the hardwork that was put into recreating the series. It is awesome.

The new CGI special effects definitely improve the Star Trek experience while watching. There were a few discrepancies that I noticed but a regular person would not have noticed what I did. The one thing I don't like is that you can't watch the whole DVD without it going back to the main menu after each episode.

It really gets annoying after a while, but it's still a lot better than the VHS versions. Good job and I got it for a really good price too.

Beautifully enhanced special effects & video quality. Really helps restore the original viewing experience vs the old, degrading film quality

season 2 is just as excellent as season one, even though it is not in HD, just got it yesterday, and watch ( the doomsday machine it was awesome!!!!!) the new special effects are as good or better than the first season! the picture look great its as close to HD as you can get being digitally remaster, the colors are still vibrant, my hats off to the guys and ladies that redid this awesome series, i know there some of you out there that are dissapointed its not in HD or Blu- ray, i know I was bummmed too, but i bought it anyways, and im very happy i did, it really is like watching it all over again for the first, so if going to wait for it to come out on blu ray, your going to be waitng quite awhile, i have season one in HD, season 2 is just as good with out HD, you really cant tell too much of a differrence at all, the one good thing about the menu sreen , is that there is no more pop out menu screen, that comes out from the side, you just click and choose, yers therre are still grafics, and the sound is in 5.1 dolby sound, so dont wait, get this its just as good as season one , you wont be dissapointed

I have been waiting for a few years to finally get all the seasons of Star Trek on DVD for a reasonable price. The episodes are great! Would recommend to any Star Trek fan!

The remastered version is remarkably clearer and more colorful than the standard release. Highly recommended for true Star Trek fans.

A must see for any true Trekkie. The original series shows how the movement began. Good family fun for the SciFi family.

i really liked it, spock is the coolest charictar and captain kirk is by far the best caption that star fleet has ever seen, hella better than captain picard

Being a star trek fan since 1968 It was excellent to see the series again
in the remastered format.The new special effects are excellent.
