STAR TREK SEASON ONE BLU RAY , IS AWESOME IM VERY HAPPY WITH IT , THE PICTURE AND COLOR ARE OUTSTANDING, ITS WORTH THE PRICE, I HAD SEASON ONE ON THE hd FORMAT, BUT IT LOOKS AWESOME ON THE BLU RAY FORMAT, CANT WAIT FOR SEASON 2 AND 3, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS DVD SET

Well worth the money the blu ray look and feel it great. I loved the cleaned up images and sound. The extras and great too.

I remember seeing at least a few episodes as a kid and remember liking it so I bought it. So far as I can tell I still like it and I must say the Hi def. blueray has an excellent picture and it also has 7.1 surround (not that I'm set up for that). Some space ship shots have been totally remastered and you can toggle between the original pic and the remastered version.

I like the superior quality of the High Definition Video[1080P STANDARD],and Audio[7.1 HD MASTER LOSSLESS].This is the best quality that I have ever seen,and heard,this 43+ year old Television Series in.The colors are much brighter,much more lush,richer,than ever before,the details far more refined than in the past,the lights and darks better contrasted,the focus far superior,very much improved over previous video versions[only now,and again, does it seem softened],the sound blows you away at 7.1 HD MASTER AUDIO LOSSLESS![or you can hear the original 2.0 MONO SOUND].You can also view either the original version of each episode,or the new versions with enhanced special effects[you can compare both versions OLD/NEW side by side to see the differances in the special effects]!The on screen menus work well,and compliment the content.Among the bonus features are hidden Easter Eggs,documentaries,the original previews for each episode,the theatrical trailer for the new "Star Trek"movie[2009],at the beginning of disc#1,a tour of the Star Ship Enterprise on disc#6,and more.It is nicely packaged in a 7 disc Blu-Ray plastic case with an outer cardboard slipcase with inserts,I just wish a booklet guide for episodes on the 7 discs would have been included,it would have made it all the easier to locate your favorite episodes.All in all however I recommend this set.Enjoy it!I am looking forward to Season 2 and Season 3 on Blu-Ray!

I have always loved the origional Star Trek tv series.When these where released on blu-ray,I knew I had to get them.This does not disappoint.The colors are excellent and bright.The surround sound is amazing.And what really adds to this release is the advanced features you can watch if you so choose.The Enterprise has never looked better.I did not know if I would like the update.But now I prefer them over the originals.Watching the series on blu-ray,it's hard to beleive how many years ago this show first came on.If you are a Star Trek fan,see if you can find this set cheap and get it.You will not be disappointed.Now,I just need to get the other seasons.

JUST WONDERFUL, THE NEW AND OLD TOGETHER. LOOKING TO SEE THE OTHERE SEASONS DONE THE SAME WAY. THIS IS THE WAY TO GO FOR STAR TREK FANS. NEW STUFF HAS BEEN ADDED BUT YOU HAVE THE OLD IF YOU WANT IT JUST AS IT WAS, ALL ON THE SAME DISK. AND ON WIDESCREEN AS WELL.

STAR TREK LOOKS BRAND NEW ON BLURAY. THE ORIGINAL SERIES REALLY SHINES ON THIS FORMAT AND THE ENTERPRISE LOOKS AMAZING. THE SOUND IS ALSO EXCELLENT. A REAL TREAT FOR US TREK FANS.

Recommend the blu ray version for any star trek fan. Brings great clarity to an older series. You'll be glad you have this in your collection.

We just love our Star Trek Season One box set!can't wait til they release the other two seasons!The set came in perfect condition,and came quickly.

I was dubious as to weather this would translate well to Blu Ray or not but it's amazing especially with the remastered effects, I felt like I was watching these episodes for the first time. Highly recommend this.
