Star Trek: The Next Generation - Season 3 (DVD, 2002, 7-Disc Set)

I was never really a fan of the original Star Trek series (I liked the movies) and it wasn't until the early 90's before I started watching TNG. I think I was instantly hooked! The story lines, the characters, everything about TNG just seemed to click.

Over the years after the series was canceled, I would find myself catching a re-run here and there and all time would stop while it showed! I think TNG remains to this day the only TV series I would watch religiously.

Season 3. was a good season. Many great episodes to be watched. The character's roles really start to fall in place (and the return of Dr. Crusher!). My only complaint with this season is the end episode which is a two part. It is the episode where Picard gets captured by The Borg and becomes "Locutis". The season ends on the first half of the episode and leaves the conclusion on the Season 4. dvd.

I thought it was a little weird that they would do that but the bonus dvd that comes with Season 3. explains why (the writer was going to leave the show and let someone else write the conclusion. If you want to see both parts to this episode, your going to have to buy Season 4. as well...).



All in all, Season 3. has been a great experience and a great buy! A must have for any TNG fans out there. Buy it today...you won't regret it!

I am a Trekkie and needed this DVD to finish my STNG DVD collection. STNG is my second best ST series next to ST Voyager.

I BOUGHT THIS ONE AS A CHRISTMAS GIFT FOR MY DAD. HOWEVER, I OWN IT MYSELF AND ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. IT IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE SHOWS OF ALL TIMES AND IS IN A GREAT BOX SET.

It was purchased as a gift. The person I gave it to loved it, and hopefully I will be able to continue buying the rest of the set.

Star Trek: The Next Generation, like all the other Star Trek series and movies, is excellent. Hours of endless entertainment, wonder and adventure. If you watch the whole thing from season 1 to season 7, the movies and the other series, it will literally change your life for the better and it's great fun for the whole family and your friends too.

I bought this season of Star Trek: The Next Generation a few weeks ago and I have watched it two or three times already. This season was better then last two seasons. The writing was great and the actors seemed to understand their part better, then the last two seasons. I would high recommen this season and others.

Wonderful performance, script, and setting. Seasons 2&3 which I have fully viewed so far are highly entertaining as well as meaningful with depth. You won't be sorry you bought them if you, like me, hate the shallowness/meaningless bang bang explosions and unncessary special effects dominating the movies these days.

The characters are all loveable and at the prime of their life and acting career.

Being the original classic series fan, I never thought this could possibly impress me more; but it did indeed!

My rating: 9.5 out of 10.

I hadn't seen the earlier seasons of the show until i recently purchased it. I find the overall look and feel of the show to be above and beyond what i expected..also as a bonus the behind the scenes information is extreamly provocotive.

Having been a long time Star Trek fan, this box set is a great season of Star Trek The Next Generation. Captain Picard, Commander Riker, Data and Worf are among the great cast in this show. I have really enjoyed the entire series and this season was a great one as well. Dr. Crusher returns in this season and rejoins Wesley, her son on the Enterprise. By this season, season three, the characters have been well defined and the story-lines are interesting. It's a great show!

The item showed up quicker then I thought it would – It was also in fantastic shape!

Being that this was the last piece in my Next Generation series, I was very happy to get this for the price I did. It came in excellent condition and was well packaged in a very timely manner. There was great communication with this seller and I am overall very, very satisfied.

I love Star Trek The Next Generation, and I like that it arrived in a timley manner, in good condition, and was everything I had hoped. Star Trek TNG is a new interest of mine and I was able to buy this season on DVD at an afforable price. It sure beats trying to catch old episodes on TV. I enjoy being able to watch it when I want and what episodes I want, as many times as I want. It was a great buy and I'm very happy with it.

This is the third time since mid June that I have tried to address this problem.
I have not recieved this item. A few days after I won the item, ebay sent me an email explaining that I in fact did not win the item. I do not know why, a reason was not provided.
Then, ebay emailed me on June 16th telling me that I had not paid for it yet and I have until june 23rd to take care of it. It is now July 2nd and 3 emails later. Now, i am not going to pay for something that I did not recieve. I would like someone to explain to me what IS going on.

I decided to buy it becuase i really like Star trek The Next generation And i like the fact that it is on DVD. As well as the serries is about space exploration and far future things really neat sci-fi serries.
