When I was a kid, I watched Star Blazers for week after week and could not wait for the next episode.

Now I can watch these again with my three year old and watch his eyes light up like mine did.

Format is a bit blurry because of the old technology but this is a great DVD set.

I have been searching for the english version of this show for over 20 years. Very cool!!!!! I spent 7 months in Japan, and saw many examples of how this show has had an effect on both cultures.

I loved being able to see this again! I haven't seen Star Blazers since I was a child and it was wonderful to be able to sit back as an adult and be taken back. I loved this show, it helped to get me hooked on Voltron. Granted science fiction writing has grown in leaps and bounds since the 70's so some of the references seem overly simple, but then it was never meant to be a science heavy show. For pure entertainment value it's great!

I used to watch this show on TV when I was young. It is just as good as I remember. Worth every penny.

I have never had anything like this happen to me. Red Tag Market had the nerve to insinuate that I never paid for my purchase...which I paid for when I bidded on it. When thy finally realized I paid for it...they didn't give me an apology for their oversight.

This was a gift for my hubby, who was a huge fan of the Star Blazers series when he was a kid. These DVDs are in great condition and a lot of fun, especially for fans of modern anime who might be interested in seeing one of the genre's "grandfathers."
