Standard Guide to Small Size U.S. Paper Money by Dean Oakes, John L. Schwartz (2002, Paperback, Illustrated)

Small size US paper money guide. This is a great series. It gives very detailed information. The info on the star notes is great. Most books give only one value for star notes, that being Unc. That is unrealistic for older series. The most popular condition of collecting(for the average collector)is VF. Unless you're talking about newer series.
This book also gives detailed information on serial numbers, if your into that.
It also has an appendix for 'radar' and 'repeater' serial numbers. It is the only book to have that.
The only thing that I have found that comes close to it is the magazine 'Paper money values'. That is a subscription for 19.95 a year.
You should really buy this book or any other book in this series.
