I wanted this book because i have old Schwinn Bicycles.there was a problem with a credit card,but has been aproved..I sent a message to the owner but no responce yet.So for card has not been charged.Istill want the book.

This is a book I pick up again and again. 10 chapters and 224 pages of very useful information and history. If you are a collector or just interested in looking at old to new Schwinn bicycles, I would recommend you pick up a copy. Tons of pictures showing even the most minute details.
The author did an excellent job in compiling this book and I find it to be the best book covering everything Schwinn.

AFTER READING THE CATALOG , I AM VERY SATIFID WITH THE INFORMATION INCLUDED . IT SEEMS TO BE VERY ACCURATE . I AM ALSO BLOWN AWAY WITH THE NUMBER OF MODELS PRODUCED BY SCHWINN . THE PICTURES DEPICT THAT THE SCHWINN DESIGNERS WERE AND ARE TRUE ARTISTS . KEEP RIDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like the beginning chapters and pictures it helps me to find the correct bike when I am buying a certain model on e-bay.What I don't like about the book way to much on stingrays and krates just not my kind of bikes.
I bought it as my first book. I really need a much advanced book.

I bought this catalog hoping that it would say more such as what colors and color names the bikes/motorbikes etc. were available in during certain years and for certain models and it did not.It has very good pictures but generally doesn't really answer any questions I had about my Schwinn Deluxe Varsity or my previous Schwinn Varsity. It did touch on almost each model to a point but I noticed at least one of the pictures was of a bike that had been updated not showing the bike as it first was offered as new or in it's original condition. I would say it's more of a coffee table book not containing much info for those of you who might want to restore an older Schwinn.

ITS A GOOD BOOK AND HERE IN GUADALAJARA , WE LIKE AND WE HAVE MANY SCHWINN BIKES AND WE LIKE TO SEE THE ORIGINALS COLORS, PARTS AND THE MODELS.

I liked the info on schwinn bikes, very interesting. The history was great, I learned alot from this book. I bought it because I have a 1952 schwinn phantom. I wanted to find more info about it.

I thought the book had Excellent photos and a good story line although not highly technical. I have a Black Phantom that I am restoring and wanted a good reference to go by.

THIS IS A GREAT BOOK FOR HOBBYISTS.RESTORERS OR IF YOU'RE JUST A BIG KID AT HEART AND WANT TO RELIVE THE GOOD OLD DAYS WHEN SCHWINNS WERE STILL MADE IN THE USA AND YOU COULDN'T HURT EM!

Packed with useful information about Schwinn history and Schwinn bikes. Great price, a must for collectors.

I love this book. It's loaded with information needed for that perfect restoration project. Great pictures make it easy to recognize the many classic and vintage Schwinn models. I bought this for reference and informative reading. Hard to find in bookstores.

I bought this book for a few reasons. Growing up I was lucky enough to have owned two Schwinn bicycles. They were great bicycles. My son was in the market for a Schwinn bicycle lately.(I pushed the Schwinn product on him.) I wanted to show him the two models that I enjoyed as a child. Perhaps I am naive but I expected them to be in this book. Neither were in this book so it was a waste of money to me. It is a beautiful book but it is NOT inclusive of all the models like the word "catalog' would lead you to believe. There are other books on Schwinn bicycles. Perhaps you can find one at the library or get one through the interlibrary loan option. That way you will know if you really want to spend your money on one of the other books out there.

its a good referance manual for old schwinns example what kind of seat,rim,tire cables shifters came on bike originally what was standard equiptment on a paticular bike and year plenty of colored photographs

This book has everything about Schwinn bicycles you would want or need to know. I would recommend it to anyone who loves Schwinn Bicycles.
