Stand Still, Look Pretty by Wreckers (The) (CD, May-2006, Maverick)

Well for starters...I think that the Wreckers have a great vibe in their music. I would call it Sheryl Crow with a mix of country. I absolutely love this CD from top to bottom. I love that every song has a meaning to either Jessica or Michelle. I look forward to more album's from the Wreckers in the future. This is the beginning of a great duo.

{Leave the pieces} is a great song,the rest are pretty so so,the girls can sing but just need more good songs.

I debated and put off buying this CD but I can certainly say i am glad I did buy it. This is a CD that you can leave in your player and listen to a couple of times. Keep the jewel case close as you will want to see what the songs are that grab you.

Michelle and Jessica's voices blend together so well. I have always liked Michelle Branch as an artist but have found myself bored with some of her music. This CD, on the other hand, I do not find boring. I believe Michelle and Jessica were a match made in Heaven and their CD is full proof of this. Though country, this CD is not too twangy. Most songs are slower so don't expect fast boppy music. All in all, this CD is well done.

There are usually a couple of tunes I skip on most CDs, but I like all the songs on this disc. The girls sound great together. Good POP/Country mix and my favorite song is "Way Back Home".

There are a few choice words so my small children have to skip a couple of tracks.

I bought this album just to take a listen without spending the full price of a brand new one. Right now, it's become one of my favorites. I used to not be a fan of The Wreckers at all, but after listening to this album, it's a great escape! There's a good mixture of fast and slow songs and also happy and sad songs. Very Impressed!

I knew two of the songs from the radio that I liked and also Michelle Branch's past work. I buy used on Ebay because it is just as good as new and I save a lot of money. Love this CD! These girls have a ton of talent. Bluesy country, my favorite kind.

These two voices combine in a magical way to create a unique country sound that I am just ctazy about.

This new female duo are an amazing asset to country radio. Michelle Branch and Jessica Harp have great voices that are so in sinc with perfect harmony. They have alot of musical talent and have a great future together. Leave the Pieces has became a smash hit, everyone has heard it from pop to country. I think these girls will be around for awhile, A+ duo.

I thought this was a great CD. Though the Wreckers are technically a country group, some of the songs didn't have the typical country sound to them. Michelle Branch teamed up with a friend to make this CD and her voice is definitely the stronger and more heard of the two. If you like Michelle's other CD's, you will definitely like this one. I like the fact that it is a mix of country and "pop" (though not pop like Britney Spears, etc).

I highly recommend this cd because every song is really, really good. I didnt think that all of the songs were gonna be so good. Usually on cds there are only 1 or 2 good songs not this cd.

I am not a country music fan. This is more of a pop albumn with a dash of country. I think Michelle did the right thing putting here solo career on hold for this group. They have great promise.

I got this cd cause I like the songs on the cd. I bought it cause sometimes I feel like them, and its alright .
