Fantastic Constantine gothic noir novel...Review created: 10/26/09

As with all of Constantine's novels, this one is very original, exotic and very seductive. A big difference fron her other books is that it is set in the real contemporary world as opposed to a fantasy otherworld. The plot and characters develop at a slow pace, but you can't stop turning pages because it is so well written..the story draws you in and won't release you...you almost hate to finish it...at least this is the 1st book of a trilogy...so definitely move on to the other 2 Grigori novels.....spellbinding. Absolutely love her writing..!
