Why I Bought the Stakes Is High
I am an older hip hop head from an era when I feel that Hip hop music was at its best. I was searching for this album for some time now because the only copy I had available to me belong to my brother. This album is hard to find, and when I did find it it was over priced. I enjoy De La's subject matter you will not find them rapping about cars, money, house, or other useless artifacts. Their production is great done mostly by them but they have a few outside guys Jay Dee in particular to do a couple of beats. They also garner some pretty good guest appearances. An all around good album.
