The book was in great condition and the packaging was THE best I've seen yet. The only thing is I decided to drop the class because of my disliking the professor. I highly doubt this book will be used again in the future semisters let alone by another professor. Don't know what to do... :(

I received the book at the time i was expecting. had a horrible experience w/ same book on Amazon.com. because it was five dollars sheaper i orderit there . it past a month and the book never arrived. i love e-bay and its responsable people.

The book arrived fast, within a week, however I wasn't expecting the outer edges of the book to be a bit torn/worn out. Everything else was in good condition so I was satisfied ^^.

I like that this book is layed out in the sequence of writing steps. Each chapter beging with a brainstorming section. The text carefully guides the reader to sort through information and form well-writen works.

This book was purchased for a college Freshman Comp class. The cost of this purchase was very reasonable compared to how much even the used version sold in the college bookstore. The St. Martin's Guide to Writing is a renowned and popular textbook for college level English classes. Most teachers for such classes will have their students use this book. It has good instruction for how to write well, as well as many examples of essays and articles to give the readers ideas and models for their own work. The purchase came quickly and was in good condition.

I ordered this item and it said that it had shipped around August 9th or 10th. The expected delivery date was August 12-22. It is now September 6th and have not recieved my item or an email explain why I have not received it.

I paid for quick shipping, but got the book a few weeks later when I needed it the most (for one of my quick summer courses), so that was a waste of extra shipping money. He was out of town at the time when I purchased the book, so it is understandable; however, it would've been nice if ebay would allow for some away message that states the seller is not present at the moment... The book was in fair condition as stated.

The St. Martin's Guide Book is very helpful when writing an essay considering "proposing a solution", "evaluation", and much more. I bought this book for my English class, and the book gives various sample essay as to how to write a specific "type" of essay. I use this book a lot and would definitely recommend it to anyone else who needs help in writing an excellent essay.
