Srixon I-506 Iron set Golf Club

These I-506 irons are the most underrated set on the rack today. A great looking forged cavity back that feel as soft and solid as any traditional forging on the market. I was playing the MP 32 and decided to try for a little more forgiveness( since I don't play as much anymore ) but didn't want to give up the feel. SO PLEASED Srixon is for real.

Bought this set to replace my MP-37's.Up side, they are more forgiving than my previous set, and slightly bigger clubhead led me to tee the ball up on par 3's, which resulted in more accuracy on the shot. Down side, I dislike them rock hard factory grips, and the feedback on misshits. But, hey, I absolutely hated those on my previous set.

Srixon golf really made a wonderful golf club when they created the i-506. These are great tour cavity back forged irons that have a low & deep center of gravity for forgiveness, yet provide responsive feel and feedback of a forged iron. There is not much to dislike about these golf clubs, in my opinion. I have tried literally dozens of other high-end brand golf clubs during the last two years. For me, at least, no other iron compares to these.

I've played Mostly Mizuno's over the last 15 years or so along with a set of Titleist and a set of Precepts both forged. These 506 Srixons is by far the SWEETEST Iron I,ve Ever hit. I swingweighted the set and never had to move the scale after the 1st club was measured, that has never happened to me before. This club is pure quality, that (Made In Japan) sticker on the shaft means something. I play Titleist 907 D2 driver and i just love it, i don't need a driver! but yesterday as i'm so worked up over these irons i bought a Srixon 506 driver on Ebay, i explained to my Titleist D2 that it was an impulse action due to those irons and that i felt bad about it, she understood and preformed better than ever. I hope the driver is not as good as the irons, i don't want to part with my Titleist D2. If you are a forged iron player you have to get a set of these, Mizuno's and Titleist do not compare in my opinion these are head & shoulders better!

The Srixon forged clubs are among the best and I have played the I-302, I-506, and the I-701 tours. While I have gone back the I-302s, the 506 line provides the same soft feel and beatiful looks from the top. The only reason I went back to the 302 is because of slight differences in the sole grinds. For people with slightly steeper swings the 506's tends to dig a little. Srixon is not one of the premier names and are not as aggressive with their advertising, but if youre looking for a great forged club at a fair price and dont care if they have Titleist or Mizuno written on them, then any of the Srixon irons are well worth your time to try out

I like lower weights on this club set. From short iron to long iron they have different thickness for higher to lower ball trajectory. I have true temper black gold shaft in it. It is little stiffer than dynamic gold S300 which I like. I recommend to people who consider them self as a ball striker. This iron sets are way beyond excellent.

I love the fact that it is a very popular set at our golf course...i work for a coarse and some of the better players use srixon irons. i had purchased the driver for my husband earlier for a gift and he wished he had the entire set. And now he does. It has been truly to cold to test them, as far as improving his game, but it has already done a fantastic job of boosting his confidence.
they were in like new condition.

Good feedback on shots, good, bad or otherwise. I would recommend to anyone who likes the feel of a forged club. I'm about a half club longer with these as compared to taylormade LT's.

The irons are top of the line golf clubs just as the manufacture advertised, and I got them at less than halve the cost. I would not have bought these golf clubs at a retail store due to the cost but thanks to ebay I didn"t have to. The clubs arrived just like the seller advertised.

they were cheap and looked to be in great condition. i decided to buy them because they are a name brand set of clubs that were set to such a low price that i had to get them.

I was playing with a set of SGI irons and wanted something with more feel and feed back. I couldn't be happier with my i-506's. Not only are they wonderful to play with but they are great looking as well.
