The Squire and the Scroll

There are too few books about integrity for young boys today. In an age where the Simpsons are a boy's role model, we need more books like this one. Just like in today's realm, the kingdom of the squire finds itself missing all of its so-called heroes of purity and integrity. As the squire journeys with his knight, we can see why, as he is tantalized by the evils of the serpent along the way. The squire, remaining true to the scroll (a metaphor for the bible) that his parents passed down to him, is the only man to triumph over evil by obeying the edicts of purity and honor.
Great, great children's book, and I recommend it to all who want their children to fight the wiles and disgraceful images of the world.
