Squidbillies - Volume One (DVD, 2007)

Now this here a cartoon DVD collection is the perfect companion for your eyeballs when you a watchin' that there demonbox. This show is like watching Nascar on Meth, but better. It's like hunting with your non-homosexualatin brother. This is likely the best damn squid comedy to come out since G_D was a boy. Don't bother buyin' it from this here liberal internetin' site. Go steal you one from someone else. That'll do it!

I bought this as an X-mas gift for my husband. He and I have always enjoyed watching this show on Adult Swim. But with Adult Swim's ever changing schedule (not to mention my ever changing schedule) I rarely get the chance to sit and watch it on TV. The shows are only about 10-12 minutes each, too, so when I do get the chance to watch it, I am always left wanting more.

When my husband opened it for X-mas this year, you'd have thought I'd handed him a winning lottery ticket. His face lit up as bright as our X-mas lights.

So, to anyone that likes this show, I highly recommend adding season 1 to your DVD collection. And if you haven't seen it before, find an episode to watch. It's absolutely hilarious - but be warned, it does take a certain sense of humor to be able to appreciate this show!

The humor in Squidbillies reminds me of South Park, it's not slapstick. Early Cuyler is the main character who plays a stereo typical redneck squid who drives a truck boat truck. Yes he drives a truck towing a boat towing a truck, and of course the trucks and boat trailer are all lifted. This is the perfect show to watch while stoned.

Until I bought this DVD, all my dreams were dead and buried. Somedays I wished the sun would just explode. As a matter of fact, when the Good Lord calls me to his side, I was taking all you Sum Beeches with me when I go. But now I have Season 1 and thanks to my "Vision in Alabaster" I have Season 2 as well. I cant recommedate this here high enoughafable.

Squidbillies is an excellent show, the animation is simple, as well as most of the other parts of the story. It is extremely enjoyable though, which makes for a perfect addition to adult swim.

This is the best show in televison history. It funny from start to finish. The theme music is even funny.

This animated series has got to be the funniest one I have ever seen. It has amazingly funny characters, and although sometimes the jokes can be a bit harsh, IT STILL AMAZING. The art isn't spectacular but it was never intended to be. In all honesty I would not recommend another cartoon over this one.

Squidbillies is one of the funniest things I have ever laid my eyes upon. I swear it takes place just through the woods from my house. You WILL NOT be disappointed if you get this. I can't wait for seasons 2 and 3.

They're sordid and crude and strangely like us- that's what makes Squidbillies so hilarious. I am so glad they included the episode about Early's failed hog farm venture. Is your hog on meth? How would you know? If you enjoy adult cartoons- this is NOT for the kiddies, then you will enjoy the satire of Squidbillies. I love having so many episodes on a handy DVD set so I can watch whenever I want, not just in the dead of night when they are on Adult Swim.

I like to watch them on t.v. but kept missing it because of the late night veiwing.So I decided to buy the dvd and just let me say it is pure funny throughout the whole thing.I wouldn't let small kids watch it but adults young and old will certainly get a good laugh.

I love this show.It is the funniest show on. I watch Keith Olberman, Today show, MSNBC news and Adult Swim on Cartoon network. Some of the funniest shows being made today. Just watch it.

Squidbillies is an unusual and addictive distillation of southern culture,concentrating its worst and most ridiculed aspects into 12 minute episodes of pure deep-fried fun. The DVD extras are alright but don't expect any LOTR-style stuff.

I love this show because, being a sheriff's deputy in a rural area, I meet squidbillies on a daily basis (except they are not squids but real human-beens). You gotta love a cartoon where the sister has a meth lab and the brother has spent fifteen years in prison for armed robbery.

If you like dark, strange or sick comedy, this is for you. Part of the amazing Adult Swim line up. I'm waiting for the next seasons to come out on DVD so I can snag them up fast!!!

This "adult" cartoon is one of the best kept secrets on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim. As crass and gross as it is funny, it will have you rolling with laughter.
