I Spy Spooky Night by Jean Marzollo (1996, Reinforced Hardcover)

THIS BOOK IS A GREAT WAY TO SPEND TIME WITH YOUR KIDS!! I GOT THIS BOOK SO MY SON AND I COULD LOOK AT THIS TOGETHER, PLUS HE LOVES HALLOWEEN.. SO HE WAS VERY INTERESTED IN THIS BOOK. MY SON IS ONLY 3, BUT REALLY LIKES TO LOOK FOR EVERY LITTLE THING ON EACH PAGE, YET CHALLENGING ENOUGH THAT ADULTS ENJOY THE SEARCH TOO. GOOD BOOK FOR BLANKETS AND GIGGLES ON THE COUCH.

I bought this book for my 5 yr old, and it seems to be a little too advanced for him. I know that he will grow into it, so I don't mind too much, but I believe that it's just not for the younger kids. The other books are a little difficult as well, but the pictures in this book are a lot darker, making the objects more difficult to find.

These I-spy books are excellent. It's a series I never get tired of reading with my son. There are always new things to discover. It's a great way to bond with your child through reading. Kids get excited when they find something & the adults are mesmerized at how these photos were created. Fantastic Series! Highly recommended.

The quality of the work itself is what always draws me in to the I SPY series. This book is absolutely no exception! The pictures are creepy but not scary, so they are appropriate for all ages. True to form, they are challenging but not impossible, and keep the interest of children - especially those who like a good spooky time! I highly recommend it!

My kids love the entire I Spy series. Like other books in the series Spooky Night keeps their attention and is a fun way to engage their mind. Spooky is not a horror version, and is appropriate for all kids old enough to understand the hidden picture style (5 and up). This book maintains the average difficulty level that the rest of the series has and will provide hours of fun. I have found it to be a good source of entertainment during long car rides.

My son loves the I Spy series of books. He is 7 and takes this book with him everywhere. Of all the ones he has, this is his favorite so far. It is a great book if you want to do an activity with your kids. All ages can enjoy it.

This is only one of a series of books based on the wonderful idea of gathering familiar objects and placing them in the most interesting settings. This writer and her partner who builds small sets or even small towns are so clever that it makes me wish I'd thought it all up. We are not at all young and yet enjoy spending time quietly perusing the photos trying to find all the "hidden" objects. The photos are delightful and the objects all findable if you are patient. My complete favorite of these books is the Christmas book but that's because it's my favorite holiday and the photos in the book involve vintage toys and ornaments. Highly recommended!

I purchased this book for my 4 year old niece and she loves it! Although she cannot read yet, she enjoys having me read to her while she searches for the objects. Therefore, she is exercising her sense of sight, listening skills, AND critically thinking as she searches- all this great fun while being exposed to literacy. I Spy Books are fun and literacy rolled into one!

I bought this book for my 8 yr old son as a Birthday present. He loves the "I Spy" collection. These books get them reading. Even I find myself searching for the items along with him. Best Picture search books since "Where's Waldo".

Another wonderful I Spy book. My five year old son has them all! These books are great for sharing--even with other kids who love to compete--I Spy books seem to lessen the need to win and encourage kids and adults to work together! This book is especially fun for the children who love monsters, Halloween, ghosts and spiders! A must have for anyone who loves a good challenge!

My kids love the I Spy series. They are 6, 5 and 4 so they are just old enough now to truly enjoy them without getting frustrated. I have purchased the new books for them through their schools but we have already gone through them. So I was interested in additional books but due to the fact that alot of them came out in the 90's it was difficult finding them. So I turned to Ebay and found the books I was looking for. I wanted new books and was able to find them quite easily. The sellers I went to delivered on their promises with wonderful quality books. My kids love them and that's what is important!
