Sprint PCS Vision Picture Phone PM-225 (Sprint Nextel)

I recommend this phone to anyone who likes an easy-to-use phone. Not only does it look great, the battery can go 2-3 days before you need to charge it, it's pretty good as a speaker phone, texting is easy, the camera is very good for a phone camera. Lots of other features like voice memo recorder that you can use to make your own ringers, navigation key that you can personalize, calendar, you can record your own voice dials to call people by speaking into the phone. Text messaging, instant messaging, and picture messaging, and others. Love this phone!!

Pros:
- Buttons feel great. Easy to dial & Text
- Camera works decent for a phone camera
- Sturdy construcion, no outside antenna which is nice
- Screen is vibrant & has many different menu themes
- Can use MP3 ringers renamed to .QCP files :)
- Lots of useful tools
- Can use all the features of PCS Vision besides video
- Great phone for the money!

Cons:
- Menus can be a little slow once you're quick with the phone
- Can only store 50 texts in Inbox & Sent Box (100 total), and you start getting annoying reminders that your inbox is getting full at 80%, and then at 100% it tells you it is full every time you enter a mailbox. No way around these reminders
- No flash on camera


Overall, this is a great little phone. It was a big change over to LG from my Nokia 6225, but a good change for the most part. It took awhile to get used to the flipping open, and the interface, but I like it nonetheless. I would definitely buy another if my future Treo ever dies.

I love the features of this phone, very easy to use. I lost my old one and had to get another just like the first, awesome phone.

First one purchased was still locked, and need money back. The second one was scratched up outside but works. I like it because it's my first flip phone, it's lighter, and I can throw it in my pocket and not worry about punching in a number. I like the connectivity and time display on the outside display. Nice speakerphone, as long as not too loud. Not much memory for higher quality pictures, and no way to add any. No flash. One-handed dialing can be a problem. The camera button on the side gets hit while in the pocket, which turns on the camera, and so is a nuisance. Also the 1/8" jack for charging is loose, so I'd recommend getting a charger that plugs into the data port as well.

Good phone for the money (But poor picture quality) Overall a good phone if you are not going to worry about the picture taking part of the phone.

This phone has so many features I would expect it to be more expensive. Although the picture quality isn't great, it is pretty good for close ups. Over all it's a great phone, very easy to use.

I like the phone. however the phone can not be put in my name do to the fact the the last person that had the phone still have a bill..

Great, solid phone, easy enough for everyone to use. We're in a dead spot for Sprint, where my old Samsung wouldn't connect most of the time. This phone connects 100%, no drops.

Solid phone, loud speaker, loud alarms. Multiple clicks to get to certain often used menu items, but all very fucntionable and applicable.

This is a Excellent phone! easy to use! nice size. Would buy it again.

The sound quality is excellent and the volume is phenomenal, but the signal reception is compromised in cloudy weather and rooms with limited windows.

When buying replacement phones for teenagers, be sure to monitor all liquids that are in or near the vicinity of the phone. They should also be made aware that in case of such occurrence (phone drops into soup), turning it on to see if it still works will mean imminent death.
I'd like to say this was a great phone. It was great for the 2 days she had it anyway..

bought the NewPhone LGpm225 weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive phone.The NewPhone's size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 4 hours. My complaint is roaming don`t work and the menu system on the phone makes you click four times before you can find someone in the address book, set an alarm, or perform a additional functions. Other phones I've owned have simpler menus and get you to important features easily. Overall, I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget.

I bought this phone because my 3 month old phone got wet and Sprint wouldn't replace it without charging me full price for a new one. This LG is a very good phone I wish that the diplay panel was larger with larger text, like my old phone, but the price is right. Overall it does more than my old phone, but I don't use all the features.

When my old phone, which was in great shape after about 7 months, was dunked in water accidentally, a friend suggested e-bay for a replacement. I wanted the same look as before but was pretty open to options. I was basically looking for a phone that someone got for free when they signed up but switched to a better version. Price was also a very big factor for me. When I found this auction I got into it because it claimed the phone was in great condition and was used very little. I ended up bidding six dollars more than I wanted to because I needed a phone already. I contacted the seller for shipping information and (s)he said that it was shipped a day later and the post office said we should receive it by wednesday or thursday of the next week. By the next friday, when I had not received it, I contacted the seller again and asked for a tracking number. (S)he said it was sent by regular mail and could not provide one. Now, I paid ten dollars for shipping so I was at least expecting a tracking number. We ended up finally getting it the next tuesday. It took about ten tries until we were able to open the battery cover and when we did we found a whole lot of dust accumulated. The phone itself works fine, but seller forgot to mention that the camera lens is all scratched so that all of my pictures look blurry. I wanted a camera phone for a reason, and now it's not really usable. I found out they paid $3.50 to ship this, so I guess that was why I could not get a tracking number. Overall, I probably would not use this seller again. I've bought from others on ebay and have never been disappointed until now.
