Sprint Nextel PPC-6700

If your mobile or an IT professional, this phone is the way to go. I stopped carrying my laptop on business trips because I could do everything I needed right on the phone. With data use and email you'll be charging it every night, but i've had flip phones that did the same.

With voice recognition, I can push one button on the side...say "boss mobile" and i'm instantly connected.

I'd just recommend a few accessories with this phone for a power user, 1) an SD Card with at least 1 GB and 2) a bluetooth headset.

this product is great! it's my life in one device. it's a regular phone with text messages, voice command, media player, video recorder, it has a camara, i can use the internet, i can write documents and take notes,...what else can i ask for!!! i can set up my email account to the phone and have my emails go straight to my phone! the only thing i didnt like was i wasn't able to directly send and recieve picture mail or video mail, but like i said i can set up me email account and have my pictures and videos sent there.

I bought the 6700 as a contract extending upgrade and found it fairly unusable. With few buttons on the front, and no dialpad on the slideout keyboard, voicedial is the only method for dialing while driving. However, everytime that you voicedial, it plays the recorded version on the speakerphone! Did I mention that it never once lasted past 2pm on the battery? That was with wifi and bluetooth off. I called Sprint and told them to take it back. My old treo may be broken, but I understand it's brokenness. The 6700 strives to be a laptop, but without a decent screen, battery, or interface. Thumbs down!

It was a cool phone to have for somebody that has a busy like but I bought it for looks. It was like a mini computer in yo pocket. It was too big and weighted down my pants.

The PPC-6700 is a good phone for people who are multitaskers, tech geeks, or business execs who don't mind carrying a larger phone around with them. The one thing that I am impressed with is its slew of features from wifi to its full keyboard. I didn't like the fact that the OEM battery doesn't last long at all(maybe a half a day with conversations, IMing, and occasional internet use). Not to mention the antenna isn't quite as good as the Palm Treo's(which I currently have). All and all if your pockets are deep and you like the Microsoft Interface then it's a good phone for you but keep looking for a better phone that is smaller, lighter, and cheaper.

i like the slick design. i hate it because i can't acess my sprint vision account on the phone. i bought it because i wanted a pda phone. the phone's volume is very low and cannot be used by people with hearing impaired

This phone did not work well. It did not hold charge and turned off all the time.

Turned it in and got a new PPC-6700 and it did the same thing. Buyer beware of this phone and this seller.

I purchased a Sprint ppc6700 about a month ago and within a week ... I returned it. its packed with features .... And it got everything you could possibly need it ... But it doesnt help you unless they work... and when they did work they were very very slow. I could sit ... 1 ft away from a wirless reciever and the wi fi would take 10 mins to load the page. Not to mention the phone locked up on me several times and shut down.... and the battery life is horrible... It lasted about an hour - I could literly make 1 phone call and I was done... This was even after buying a brand new oem battery for it. I wouldnt reccomend this phone to anyone thats on the go... If you sit at a desk all day and can afford to have the phone on the charger most of the time ... Then its worth it.

I love this phone! Not only does it have all the features I want, but it is very reliable. Not only can I take video/pictures with a great camera, but I can listen to Mp3's and watch full length movies!

Surfing the net either over the air or with a WIFI router doesn't hold me down to tugging a laptop or looking for a desktop to use at school. A ton of aftermarket software is available, thus making the phone/pda customizable to what I want it to be. Overall, great phone!

This was my really first big buyer trans action.649 dollars was the items in store cost and I got away with only paying 250.Cuz I waz like Dammm!!! The seller sold me a piece of Heaven all was good with the device and it's working fine to this day.It was my Mother's Day gift to my Wife and she fell in love with it first sight.

Horrible phone with software problems. And just hard to use. could not put in purse or pocket because the touchscreen would unlock and calls would be made. Embarrassing!

grate phone full features. i bought it for the features that iclude web browser and keypad. perfwect for bussines managment and customer follow up. recomended

This phone is a great buy! A few flaws but the benefits greatly exceed them! This phone / pda has organized my life and taken the burden off my memory.

I like the fact that this is a do it all phone. But I dont like the bulkyness. If you dont mind carrying it around then its great for anyone that needs to work on the go.

I love this phone! It can do anything a laptop, pda, camera, and cell phone can do and more. I decided to buy it cuz I found a really great price thanks to ebay I saved 50 percent from the store price. Thanks ebay LOVE YA!

This is the best cell phone that I have ever had. I am sure that they have better phones that cost a lot more money. For what you pay for one of these, WOW is all I can say.

The only draw back is the size, it is thick. You can't just drop it in your pocket very well.

For the money you save on these phones, you can buy alot of holsters for it.

All in all, don't have second thoughts about one of these phones. You will be happy.

My son loves being able to do homework away from computer, however battery does not hold a charge very long.

Nice tool for the office although I wouldn't suugest this model for the more hardy individual as the screen have a tendency to break.

I purchased this phone from e-bay because i could not afford a new one at the time.It is a sweet pocket pc/phone.The only thing that disappointed me was it is not upgradeable from windows mobile 5.0 to 6.0.Other than that it is a great phone.It can pretty much do anything.When i purchased it i got everything i needed for it from( 5 stylus's,7 batteries!!,4 battery covers TO 2 carrying case's and lots of programs.I was very happy with the purchase,it was like buying a new one with tons of xtra's that would of cost me as much as the phone was.

this was a very good buy .. i recomend putting windows mobile 6 on it . works alot better. theres nothing this phone cant do i love it

I love the keyboard, make texting much easier for those of us that are text challenged. The phone has sooo many features that it will take me awhile to learn and use them all. The touch screen takes a minute to get use to. The speaker phone does not work well at all on the phone. The only real problem I've having is trying to delete pictures that are on the phone. Overall I really like the phone and would encourage others to get it that will use most of the features.

I really like this Pocket PC, is not expensive and very helpful. I can install any program that I want, it is not an Iphone but I can make it look like it.
