  Spongebob Game
Review created: 01/11/09

Fantastic game. Played this with my son for hours. Has the perfect balance to keep kids interested and adults will love the comedy. It takes a little getting used to the 3D but once you get it the way cool items that all the characters use makes it so you will play the same level over and over because of how fun it is. I had this game 2 years ago and had to buy it again because we ruined the disk. But it is well worth it.

A little harder for kids to play than we expected...
Review created: 05/08/08

The game is hard for my video game addicted husband, let alone our kids. I wasn't expecting the game to be as difficult for young kids as it is. The graphics are good. The kids enjoy Spongebob and Patrick. It's challenging enough for adults. I had not heard of this game before, so it was a nice present for our kids.

Sponge Bob is Excellent for Kids
Review created: 03/18/08

This is a great game for all the kids in the family, regardless of age. The graphics are great and the voices are all that you know and love from the show. The game is easy to play for the younger ones, yet challenging enough for the older ones.

  Fun game for the family
Review created: 12/08/06

I bought this game for my four-year-old son, who had nothing to play on our XBox 360. This game is perfect for his age group and a little older. He enjoys being the characters and seeing the familiar surroundings from the show. The moves are easy enough for him to handle, but there are still elements of the game that require a little help from mom or dad. All in all, we enjoy to play this as a family. My son really likes it, because it is at his skill level. It is easy for little ones to go from board to board and the "missions" are easy to understand and execute. There is really no way for the characters to "die," which is nice for little ones who get easily frustrated. The characters have a few chances to reduce their life and then when they do "die," they simply wake up at the nearest checkpoint, so you can continue what you were doing. You also have to collect "shiny objects" which are everywhere in the game and are super easy to collect.

For a preschool age child, I would highly recommend this game. The characters and surroundings are familiar to the kids and this game has a real ease of use.

The only con I would list about this game, is that it may be a too easy for adults. My husband and I play it with our son and with our help, the game is almost completely beaten and we have only had it for about a month. If you are buying this for an adult, it may be too easy. The tasks are simple and are fully explained, so there isn't much to do except carry it all out. I would recommend it for the preschool and grade school age child. It is fun for parents too, but not as challenging as an "adult" game.

Pros:
A fun and easy to learn game.

Cons:
The game is also way too easy at the same time.

SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS: Battle for the Bikini Bottom (November 11, 2003) Are you a cartoon fan? If you never heard of this Spongebob Squarepants guy before, he is a nerdy looking talking yellow sponge and he is in one of the biggest cartoon shows currently on TV. It was only a matter of time before this odd but lovable sponge got a game on the Xbox. Sure it would be easy to dismiss this title as shameless license junk on a disc but with its colourful environments, real actor voices, and tight 3D action, Battle for the Bikini Bottom here may surprise you. The game begins when a rotten character.

  "Are You Ready Kids?"
Review created: 01/27/05
by: yayapex2-- a member of Epinions and Advisor in Games

Pros:
Not Too Difficult For Kids, Reading Isn't Necessary,

Cons:
Too easy for older people, Need More Difficulties

My cousin upstairs from me had just gotten a Game Cube. His first two games he got was Mario Party 5 and SpongeBob: Battle for Bikini Bottom. I tried it out, and noticed that it wasn't half bad at all. I said to myself that I have to get this game, if I see it real cheap. It was around the end of September when I bought this game for about $10.00 on sale. Story: It all started out with Patrick and SpongeBob playing with their toy robots. Then they were starting to get bored and SpongeBob wishes that there were real robots. The next morning they wake up to see a whole bunch of mindless robots..

A fun battle for all ages
Review created: 03/28/04
by: mungmung -- a member of Epinions

Pros:
Great gameplay and graphics. Familiar characters. No gore or perma-death. Adult and kid-friendly.

Cons:
No perma-death could be considered a con by some.

Let me first say I'm not a huge fan of Spongebob, or even cartoons in general. My 9 year old daughter is the true fan in my house, with an absolute ongoing love affair happening with her favorite talking yellow Sponge. And my 14 year old--true to the teenage form--tries her best to pretend she's not a fan when we all know she is! I am, however, a bigtime gamer. I've played hundreds of games on every platform out there since the days of Pong and the original Donkey Kong. I've jumped and flown along with Mario on his many Nintendo adventures (my favorite games), and swung my lightsaber on every.

My 4 and 5 year olds love this!
Review created: 05/05/06
by: Kiko68 -- a member of Epinions

Pros:
Easy to get around once they can master it!

Cons:
They will fight over it, not a two player game.

Man, my husband got this game in his Xbox mag as a tester and the kids went nuts!! They played it for months and actually went as far as they could in the one section. I am not talking about in a couple of weeks I am talking in days. We bought the Full Version and my kids LOVE LOVE LOVE this game, my 4 year old at the time was 3 and was whizzing around this game like an old pro. My 5 year old, man, he gets on levels I haven't seen and then if he gets stuck he asks me to help but I don't know how to do it. I am really sad about the whole Xbox experience, I don't get it. It has them finding...
