Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron (DVD, 2002, Full Frame)

We love this movie as it shows the progression of life on the frontier from the eyes of a wild horse. It is a great movie to show how life changed and the affect the settlers had on the environment, wildlife and native americans.

Be aware, this movie does show some violence, i.e. chains, breaking and whips on the horse; attitude and violence toward the native americans from the frontier calvery.

We bought this movie to compliment our collection for our car dvd player, unfortunately the movie we bought on ebay was a COPY! It only works in our cheap home dvd play intermittenly, says BAD DISK most the time, and doesn't work at all in our car dvd player.

We wound up buying a genuine Disney dvd and noticed the original had laser writing on the plastic center ring that was not on the ebay purchase.

Actually. I didn't receive this movie yet.I don't know what happened.I paid for all them,but until now the Ebay didn't send that movie.I'd like know what happened and i hope that Ebay solve the problem. thank you.

I got this dvd because my toddler loves horses. The horse in this movie doesnt even have a name! She kept asking me what to call him but I couldnt answer but to say "horsey"?!?!.There was no "warmth" to the characters I think maybe its better suited to young boys. It was a decent movie for kids but not one of the favorites to say the least. I usually enjoy watching the new children movies with them but this I wouldnt sit through again.

i thought the movie to be a good family movie. The songs are really nice, the story itself has good values.
Not the best movie ever made, but a very good one nonetheless.

I would like to say thanks. I can't afford to spend alot this Christmas and my daughter really wanted this movie. It was so reasnobally priced. I just couldn't pass it up.

This is a very touching tale of a horse that was born in the wild west during the Calvary Times. When The Calvary was fighting the Indians. The story is beautifully done. The trials & tribulations of what he went through growing up. Meeting for the first time humans and what they did when he was captured.
I did nothing but cry most of the way through the film. It touched me very much to see a film that Dreamworks produced. I have seen others like "Paulie" the story of a Parrot. That was well done too. Any film by Dreamworks is worth seeing.

The movie was shipped very fast. It was in great condition. I would do business with this seller again.

I love this video, even though I usually do not like animated movies, this one is a Big Winner with me. It is a great story and the story is very emotional. It made me cry at the end, but don't worry it does have a happy ending.

My daughter loves this movie, i love this movie an im 24! its an awesome move and great for anyone who loves the west and loves horses. The movie itself is a great piece with awesome graphics. Its great for boys and girls of all ages.

This film is pretty good. I think what I enjoyed best was the soundtrack. The film has alot of great songs throughout that are also found in the audio cd. Go pick this one up, it truly is pretty sweet!

I love the fact that the DVD was still in its original case and that it was practically brand new. Nothing to dislike about the purchase. My son loves this movie.

There are excellent values for children to learn from this movie, while reminding parents of the same. It reminds us that we receive wonderful gifts, but that doesn't mean we necessarily own the gift, but that we are rather to take care and protect the gift.

I like this movie because you miss the days when the west was not about man, but about nature. A great way to think about camping and the outdoors when you can't be there. Also, has great music, which has to bring a smile to your face.

We like this movie so much that I needed two copies...one for at home and one for when my daughter goes to her Grandma and Grandpa's house. She insisted on having it there so when she goes for a visit she can watch it over and over. It's a great movie and I was very pleased with this transaction overall.

The DVD was in great condition and had really neat bonus features we didn't expect. Great if your kids like to learn how to draw the characters in the film. The story line portrays the settling of the west from the perspective of the horse and the relationship he is forced to develop with a Native American in order to protect his home and survive. Portrays western expansion of the 18th and 19th century more accurately and contrasts system and order with the liberty of the spirit. Living in the west myself, I definately wanted my children to be exposed to a less traditional portrayal of American history, and be forced to consider from a different vantage point whether the west was really won or lost. Great family film I highly recommend!!!

I loved being able to buy this movie new and at such a good price. It's the only thing my granddaughter asked for as a birthday gift. She was very excited when she opened it.

I had never seen this movie. I was buying movies for my grandchildren. When I watched this movie I was really suprised, it was a wonderfully told story. My daughter and granddaughter loves it also.
