this game is the best spiderman game i ever played. the combat system is very good its about time they give him the true abilities he can do the whole black suit addition was needed web of shawdows must need to buy if ur a spiderman fan

The game looks great, controls pretty well. It gets a bit repetitive on some of the optional missions that you gotta do to level up Spider-Man. The story is fun, especially if you enjoyed the comic.

I can't thank you enough for helping me purchase this item for my son for Christmas. He will be so surprised. He really wanted this and in stores it's $60 to some $50 dollars. He will be so surprised christmas day. He is 11.

Well my son asked me for this game I ordered it and it took 3 weeks to come.... "Dad is it here yet?" "Did come?!?" Heard those words too often! I asked my son what he liked about the game. He said "It has a good story line and you can pick if you want to be good or bad. The fighting can be done all over the place, on the ground, on top of buildings, also the sides of buildings and even in mid air!!!" So he gives this game 2 thumbs way, way up!

The dialogue in the game is a bit bad and spiderman sounds like a 12 year old but the gameplay rocks. A very good game.

This game would be sweet if you could acctually be Spiderman.Simply put,dont climb walls.The camera is insane and makes this game almost unplayable..

Swinging through the city from your web, crawling up the side of a building, or jumping from roof top to roof top, this is a great game for children or adults. Has some violence due to the fact that its spiderman fighting villains but other than good for all ages. You can switch back and forth from regular spidy or dark spidy. You have to save civilians, take care of gang members and of course fight villains. You also have to collect glowing spider things to up grade spiderman and train with different moves to learn and purchase upgrades(new moves) using experiance points which you get from fights. Don't wont to give all the game away so you will have to play it for yourself. Great game!

This game is the best Spider-man game I've ever played and I've played every one of them since Sega Genesis. The IGN review is very inaccurate and I trust IGN's reviews generally. Definitely worth the price this game is sold for after being released this long. This is a must buy for spider-man or comic fans; up there with Batman: Arkham Asylum. (Xbox 360)

The game has great action, good challege and the fact that you can switch between the Black and Red suits for almost the entire game is great.

This is the best spiderman title to date, by far. Super fun open city fighting. The artwork in this game is impressive. Just swinging through the city is super fun.

I am a big fan of spiderman comics for one and i had played all of the previous spidey games ps1, ps2, and this game is a little more intense them the original plot of the other games. Graphics are awesome, storyline great, and blackcat is fricken hott... lol all in all its kicks ass.

I wanted to buy this game because I was a fan of Spiderman 2 and I even liked the amazing spiderman and Spiderman 3 in spite of poor reviews. This game was the worst spiderman game I have played since the Game Gear spiderman. I thought that you could only improve on previous ideas that a game put forward but I was wrong. This game makes web swinging stupid easy and wall crawling battles pointless. Enemies are easily defeated by repeatedly mashing the x button, but if you care to learn the combos you will soon find that the missions are so boring and pointless that you will end up mashing the x button simply to get through them as quickly as possible.

Super lame.

Do yourself a favor if you're mulling this one over and just buy Spiderman 2 for PS2 because it is a much better game.
