Spider-Man - The Venom Saga (DVD, 2005)

This DVD constains 4 episodes of the Venom timeline from the highly succesful animated Fox series from 1994. It also includes extras like commentaries by Stan Lee (the creator of Spider-Man) and Stan Lee's Soap Box, and also is dubbed in Spanish. Fans and people recently introduced to Spider-Man by the movies will both enjoy this DVD. The cult series will not be revived in a DVD set, but this is as close as it will get, and it is incredible.

Overall a good DVD well worth watching, this will definitely appeal to the younger audience and will keep them busy for over 70 minutes

My 4 year old son loves Spiderman & we own 1 & 2 that we purchased edited for content, violence, & language. He likes this DVD, but it scares him & he will not watch it often.

the history is really good but the quality poor its good when the people dont need more whathever i not mad for that thanks.

why have they have never released this series in it's entirety is a mystery to me. But these are epic spiderman cartoons of the mid 90's. This one was great!

This release features four episodes from the mid-1990s animated incarnation of the hero. When Spider-man investigates a crashed spaceship, his body becomes host to a strange alien life form. When he finally manages to get rid of the alien, it joins with Eddie Brock, a local reporter who blames Spider-man for ruining his life. Together, they become Venom--a villain with the same powers as Spider-man and a quest to destroy him forever.

I BOUGHT THIS PARTICULAR DVD BECAUSE IT IS TRULY A GOOD EPISODE AND VERY HARD TO FIND.I LOOKED AROUND AND FOUND THIS DVD HAD A REASONABLE PRICE AND WAS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.

It is a great cartoon and it is all about my son's favorite characters. I bought it because my son loves the movie and the store quit carrying it.

My Grandson is a big Spiderman fan, and we have been looking for this movie for months. It is hard to find. It has really interesting villains such as Venom and Carnage. The story is a good one. And in the end we even get our first introduction to Iron Man and War Machine. We thought it was an exciting movie! My Grandson who is 5 years old rates it 99 stars out of 100!
