Sphere (DVD, 1998)

I really enjoyed this movie even thought it is science fiction. the cast that was used was extremely excellent and performed quite well. any movie that includes queen latifah, samuel l. jackson, dustin hoffman and sharon stone can only be great in all aspects. i would definitely recommend this movie for all to watch and learn about how things can be different under unusal circumstances and situations. the underwater scenes were shot to the extreme. excellent movie and get cast.

Very interesting Sci Fi movie. Definitley need to watch again. Has some twist that make you want to watch.

I love this movie for three reasons. The first reason is that the cast is an all star cast. Sharon Stone, Dustin Hoffman and Samuel L. Jackson to name a few.The second reason is the incredibly believable acting throughout the whole movie.The third reason is the action packed underwater experience that this movie provides that leaves you on the edge of your seat. Of course Sharon Stone plays the not so sure crew member that had a curious past that leaves many crew members doubting her ability to do her job. Dustin Hoffman plays a lead role in the movie as an expert in his field. Samuel L. Jackson plays the wonderful crew member that leaves everyone scared out of their witts. Why? All these mysterious events seem to happen when he accidently went into the sphere. After his recovery he begins to sleep for hours at a time. Well, there is only one thing to do when you sleep and that is DREAM. The crew eventually discover that not only their dreams come true but their worst fears. They have to divise a plan to rescue themselves, but first they must weed through the world that the sphere has created to trap them all. A world that makes it hard to decipher reality from illusion.A world that could lead to all of their demise.

This is a great movie! It is full of suspense, mystery, and action. The acting and special effects are excellent. What they leave out in the way of effects is
cleverly entered into your imagination.
