The movie of my younger years. A raw, emotional and gripping experience. One of Verhoevens best in my opinion. Boys playing boys untill real life kicks in and each of the 3 protagonists chooses his path.

For a movie, that is supposed to be one of director, Paul Verhoven's better efforts, I would classify this epic as a giant dud. Here is a film that suffers from a lack of action. If you are enamored with motorcycle races, you do see some races but not much more. If you were looking for a great human interest story or some action movie...............it ain't there.
