Spell of the Highlander by Karen Marie Moning (2006, Paperback, Reissue)

I absolutely LOVE this author! She is fabulous!! This series of books are incredibly hard to put down. The book itself is a sexy read! I can picture myself right in the middle of this story. That's what makes a good author in my opinion!

I love the author and the whole setting for all of her books. They are all related but not. You can read them any way you wish and they still make sense.

ok, so on the first read through i read the whole book,

on the 2nd read through i skipped until they got to scotland, daegus and drustan, now that part could be longer, and it would have been good for adam to show up, oh and the book teases about a book for the queen but i have not seen it yet.

This book is part of a series, yet each book can stand alone. Ms Moning has a
talent for keeping you coming back for more. You feel that the highlanders are
part of your family. You will find yourself crying with them and laughing with
them.

Excellent condition.Just as seller said.Books are very fun and interesting.I would most definitly by more of her books in the future. She has a unique style of writing that I really enjoyed.The only thing I disliked was that I came to like certain Characters and wanted them to have thier own story and so far they don't have it yet, but maybe they will someday.Other than that I think the books are just so much fun and the different characters are really fun too. They are each differrent in their own ways and I love thar abiut her writing. I give her stuff a two thumbs up all around. Im a new fan all thw way!

I bought this series on the recommendation of my daughter, Christina. She knows my taste in novels and she knew I'd like it. I LOVE it. Actually I'm only on the first book and I hate to have to put it down when I have other things that I need to do. I have laughed often reading this book and I am so looking forward to the other six in the series. The author, Karen Marie Moning, describes in detail and makes you feel as if you can touch it, see it, and feel it just as it is written. I recommend this series to anyone who would have like to have seen the big brawny Scotsmen back in the day sweeping his fair lady up in his arms as if she weighed no more than a feather. This series is also a time travel theme with Faeries whisking future people back in time on a whim and a fancy. I hope you enjoy them as much as I am.

So creative! I like the love stories...so romantic!
The action-adventure never disappoints me either!
I love the entire highlander series.
I can't wait for Karen Moning's next Highlander books!

Book Six of the Highlander's Series:

I was not sure about this book since I had read some of the reviews written by others. I found "Spell Of the Highlander" although with just a tad different spin from the other books within the series, a very interesting story I fell in love with.

Some of the characters from the other books are brought back in this one, interweaving them together as long lost family. I have found each book brings a new facet to the overall rich history of the MacKeltar Clan. One point throughout the whole series, it takes strong willed and stubborn women to tame a highlander and once they fall in love it is forever!

This work of Moning's was quite different to her other highlander novels. It was HOT as usual. I loved the curse in this story especially well. I would love to come across one of her highlanders someday. Talk about the perfect man!!

I loved it. There were sexy scenes, scenes so funny I laughed out loud, and tense suspenseful scenes... it was a great book that moved well and was entertaining on so many levels. It read fast... way too fast!!! But, it was good enough to read again! I am not the type to re-read a romance novel, but this one is the exception.

My only desire is that they last a little longer.. maybe I read too fast. The story ties in with other characters of previous books. I enjoyed it.

LOVE THE SERIES AND JUST HAD TO HAVE IT TO READ AND READ AGAIN. LOVE THE CHARACTERS AND THE WAY THE AUTHOR WRITES.

I love Karen Marie Monings books but I was a little disappointed by Spell. The lead male character, Cian MacKelter is supposed to be a strong man, however to me, he only comes off as a jerk. The story itself was great I just didn't care very much for Cian.

This book was very good. I found myself feeling apprehensive at first because of the extent of the fiction, but I ended up getting caught up in this great read. The Author was very detailed in her descriptions & even though some of the writing & language was hard to read, you catch on to the dialect very easily.

Again KMM was able to keep me on the edge of my seat with suspense, and the ability to make me experience, in a sense, what is taking place in the book. You feel her books in your heart!

I had bought a few other books from Karen Marie Moning and she never ceases to amaze me with her great stories!! I love the characters..if you haven't read any of her books you should.
