A Spell for Chameleon by Piers Anthony (1987, Paperback, Reprint)

Great Book, very captivating and love how it drags you into the story. Almost as if everything is happening right in front of you.

The book's condition was just as described or even better. I bought it to replace a previous book, borrowed from a friend, that had fallen apart when I read it. My friend was also pleased with his new book. Thanks again!

There is not much I can tell you about Piers Anthony's Xanth series if you have not read it already. All I can say is that I bought this set because these are some of those rare books that you can read for the 37th time and still enjoy it as much as you did the first time.

A Spell for Chameleon is the very 1st Xanth novel. I believe those of you who like fantasy (smokie smokie), will certainly like Xanth. Most memorable for me are the Wizard and his castle, and Bink's journey into it. I can't remember too much else...

As the title suggests, this is the first book in a huge series by Piers Anthony. This book begins the adventure into a magical land of Xanth where magic is plentiful and puns are everywhere. This book defines the struggle of a woman looking to find her place in Xanth. You will share in her adventure as she looks to understand the answer given to her by the Good Magician Humphry. This book will take you to a world that would be so much fun to be a part of. The interesting creatures and the use of puns is funny, relaxing and interesting. Fantastic book and a even better author.

read this book years ago and remembered it as a fun book thought i would like to read again. Arrived in great shape and was a good fun read would recommend it to anyone who likes a good fun fantasy.

There are a large number of Xanth book that have been written. This is the one that started it all. Xanth is a magical world that is popluation with living puns. The later books the pun is apparent in the title. This books deal with a quest that girl to "cure" her condition. Every person in Xanth has one unique magic ability. Chameleon changes her appear and mind ability with the cycle of the moon. The more beautiful she is the dumber she becomes and visa versa. This book will make you laugh out loud.
