Speedway to Sunshine by Seth Bramson (2002, Hardcover, Illustrated)

I loved Mr. Bramson's informed, and informative, look at the history and operations of one of America's greatest transportation assets, The Florida East Coast Railroad, aka The Overseas Route. From the beginning Mr. Bramson sets the stage for an exciting ride through time, stopping at all stations which reveal clues to the imporatnce of the FEC to America's vacation crowds for generations. It is also a story of the quintessential dreamer, Henry Flagler, who dreamt big and than made it happen. I bought this book because I could not afford a copy of the original printing which was hard to find. This re-issue made it afforadble. Thanks
