Species (Blu-ray Disc, 2009)

The item which I recieved not Blu-ray its a dual layer 7GB DVD BUT BLU-RAY FORMAT INSIDE PLEASE MENTION THIS ON ITEM DESCRIPTION ultimately this is not a bluray dis its a dvd multylayer

I'm sorry, but unless you're a hormonal teenage boy this is a PIECE OF CRAP! Poorly acted, horrible graphics, so boring when I originally saw it in the theater the 4 people that bothered to show up besides me (and my girlfriend at the time) where all making out 30 minutes into this crap fest. If you really feel the need to waste your money, please just send $7.99 to me and I will gladly accept it, as payment for saving you an arduous hour and a half of your life you otherwise will never get back.

i love it!i have seen it at cinema and it was very good fun!i bought it for regular dvd as well,but i'd like to watch by digh definitions 1080p.so,i decided to buy it for HD DVD.thanks!

At first I was a little concerned because there was some pixelating in the picture but smoothed out. Not bad overall for high-def but I think that they could of remastered it before transfering it to blu-ray. The movie is pretty much your typical sci-fi hunt down the evil alien, only the evil alien is the incredibly hot Natasha Henstridge in her first movie role and not too mention that she seems to not mind shedding off her clothes like they were on fire. Sadly the sequels condemned this H.R. Giger creature creation to B movies and straight to DVD. Personally I would of liked more screen time for the actual creature, this creature didn't get near the amount of screen time as the creature from the Alien series (also from H.R. Giger designs).
