Special Effects Cookbook by Michael E. Samonek (1992, Paperback)

As a Head Start teacher of 3-5 year olds, this book is wonderful. It has ideas that can take our cooking experiences to the next level. Our cooking activities often incorporate science as well and this book helps with that in a big way. It adds fun and mystery and that lends to a more meaningful experience for the children. Also as a mother, it offers fun ideas to shake the dulldroms from a lackluster day and put some spark into a surprise. This book is not easy to find but well worth it when you do.
