I like the format with the helpful hints, symptoms and actions to take and stories. It is easy to read and has a treasure trove of helpful info. I just got a new dog from a rescue group and got insurance this time, so I want to be informed of all the advances and techniques available if I need them. It explains them well.
This is a great book for reference and to take to the vet, if necessary, to discuss with your personal vet.
