Speak (DVD, 2005)

I bought my Laurie Anderson book/cd from this seller. The seller was prompts in sending the package. Everyting was packaged in ways to protect the item. This was a positive transacton. I bought from this seller because the item/s sold wss sold at a reasonable price.

Great story and very touching....and must to watch with young teenagers...................................................................................................................................................!!!

quick and easy. Package was wrapped well, so that moisture would not absorb into the envelope and therefore damage the dvd. I purchased this item to use in my classroom as a supplement to reading the novel Speak. I enjoyed the movie, as did my students.

This movie is a great teen movie. It teaches that when something real bad happens that you dont need to keep quitE just speak up and tell someone!

One thing I dislike about the movie is that I can't access or open the special features. I liked the movie and everything else. I decided to buy this movie because I have seen it before on Lifetime and I never finished it until now.

I love the movie. I saw it on lifetime years ago but didn't know the name until recently and they don't sell it in stores anymore as far as I can tell. Great movie great condition!!! never been opened.

Loved this movie, i read the book and then a friend suggested i watched the movie, Kristen Stewart is fantasic in it, for someone who didnt speak alot i could tell exactly what she was trying to say! Cried alot =( but loved it

I expected it to be an over dramatized story as well as grossly over acted. But it wasn't at all. Kristen Stewart did an amazing acting job! She was basically an unknown then. However, she carried the movie. And did it exceptionally well. Putting in the dark the more known and much more experienced actors such as DB Sweeney, Steve Zahn and Elizabeth Perkins. And she was only like 13 years old! I had to buy after watching it on TV. A sensitive topic for sure but it is done tastefully while never losing the focus.

What I like about this movie is that it's realistic and the things portrayed in this movie really happen in today's world. I bought this movie because I'm a Kristen Stewart fan and I think this movie is her best work to date. I can also believe whats happening in the movie unlike a lot of toady's films. The whole movie is down to earth and it makes you feel for Melinda (Kristen Stewart) after what she goes through in this movie.

I'm really not the best at writing reviews so my apologies if this review isn't very good as far as understanding it.

My daughter loved this movie. I would highly recommend that you push them to read the book before watching the movie.

It tells a great story that ALL teenagers should read. I think that this book can posssibly help someone to understand that No means No- and it is just the right thing to do when you tell your story.

I bought this movie after reading the book by laurie Halse Anderson. I thought that it followed the book quite well but may have rushed through some of the middle parts. Al together a good job and interesting movie even if you haven't read the book!

This is a great movie. I watched it because Im a Kristen Stewart fan, and I think is a GREAT adaptation of the book. The cast is perfect, so is the plot. Great movie for teenagers to watch, and for parents.

I love this film. In its basic form, it is a beautiful film. The emotions, the beauty of the story, and the pain are carried across beautifully in this film. You really get a sense of what Melinda is feeling and you empathize with her. You see how she becomes one of the pack and then isolates herself entirely due to that one incident. Very well done! :)

i bought the movie speak and i loved everything about it and i couldn't belive i found it brand new i was so happy and it arived the day after i finshed the book so i was happy to get it

This movie is excellent! I bought it because after renting it I wanted to have it on hand for the youth I work with, it's very touching, in a dramatic/comedic sort of way. Kristen Stewart does a wonderful job playing an awkward teen trying to find her place in high school. Steve Zahn is great in his role, normally I don't care for some of his movies but he's wonderful in this film. This movie is great for teens.

It was a great movie. And I don't know where I would have bought it from and got such a great price. I like how fast the movies get to my house, though I have had a couple that a while so I just wrote to the people to make sure that they had been sent out. They usally are in great condition. I haven't got a few tapes but I let them know and since they say they shipped them already I don't buy from them any more. I do love shopping and I do alot of it on half.com

Great movie, I truly enjoyed. I thought it was very educational for young girls. I think this movie could help those in a similar situations. Its a tragedy that this continues to happen to young girls, it robs them of there youth and so much more. I really liked the end where she felt like she was finally free.

I loved the story.
It was very compelling, and held my interest throughout the film.
Kristin Stewart was excellent with her portrayal of teen angst, and subtle nuances that made you care about her character.
I originally bought the film because my daughter was an "extra" (she's onscreen for about 5 - 6 seconds during the pep rally), but when I watched the entire film I was very impressed with the story and the acting.

My teen daughter wanted this movie. Very good, makes you think, regardless of how old or what sex you are.

MY LITTLE SIS IS IN LOVE WITH THIS MOVIE AND HAS BEEN FOR A WHILE NOW. I FINALLY GOT SMART AND BOUGHT IT FOR HER FOR HER BDAY. GREAT GIFT!
