Spartan: Total Warrior (Game Cube, 2005)

It was a great game. It was really fun and the levels are awesome. If you like greeks or romans at all then this is the game for you. Worth every dollar I paid!

I loved the first third and well all of the levels it's a really good game and if your interested in hack'n slash or just ancient Greece Romans or Spartans. You can battle ancient monsters like Talos the Minotaur and the Hydra. It is a really good game and I recomend it!!!!!!!!!

THIS IS SPARTA!!!If you're a fan of Frank Miller's 300 or even the God of War series with a little bit of Guantlet thrown in then this title is definitely one you should check out. The game itself is an action strategy title with a heavy emphasis on the "action". The story puts you on the side of the Spartan empire against the tyranny of the Roman empire. Huge battles with over 100 characters or more onscreen as well as fighting mythical beasts like the Hydra or the Minotaur to name a few. Combat is easy to learn, satisfying and your character will have access to magic as provided to him by the Gods. The only negative aspect to point out is that there isn't a two-player campaign, that aside this title is worth a purchase and definetly worth your time,"SPARTANS PREPARE FOR GLORY!!!"

Fun hack'n'slash game from the makers of the Total War series, some big battles and satisfying kills. The voicework is laughable at best and there are some historical innaccuracies, but that is why Rome: Total War exists. Graphics aren't top-notch for 2005, but they do render the large battles well. 4/5

According to my son, excellent game. Really great graphics. Challenging scenarios. Recommended for serious ancient war gamers.
