) I loved this movie! It tells the graphic story of the slavery uprising in Rome led by Spartacus. Goran Visnjic (ER), leads as the reluctant leader and shows why he is leaving ER, to show his talent in movies. I loved the education I got on early Rome and how it all really happened and the acting was amazing. I don't know all the actors and actress' names but they all preformed wonderfully and made it one of my top ten fav films. The lead actress and Visnjic make you fall in love with them. You pray they'll be a happy ending, even though you already know the ending. I loved how they put humor in and didn't shy away from making you uncomfortable with what really happened.

I really like the story and how it tells the epic revolt led by Spartacus. The soundtrack is second only to Star Wars and Lord of the Rings. The production quality is superb, and the acting is very convincing.
Highly recommended for fans of Roman history or action films in general.

My daughter is a big fan of Goran Visjnic. And she really enjoyed the movie/mini series. When she rented it, she thought she would be getting the the dvd in it's whole. But she only got the 1st part of it. Like the the only 2 hrs of it. And we believe that, that's not all of it. We hope that's not all of it because of it being a mini series and all. I'm a big Roman movie fan myself and I plan on watching it once I purchase it but I want to see it as a whole as well. So when I purchase it. Please everyone, I beg you let me have this DVD in its full state. If it's not done then let me know it's not yet complete. But my daughter and I are dying to finish this movie. We consider this to be an epic adventure we are willing to get finished.
