Space Invaders Revolution (Nintendo DS, 2005)

I love the fact that with a touch of a stylus, the game is activated into the play mode. I invested so many quarters at arcades, I should be a Space Invader shareholder by now. This game has two play modes, the original classic arcade game, and a New Age Version, with cool graphics and various different location modes to play in, and master. Space Invaders utilizes the double screen very well with the stylus, it has the shoot button, and the controls are quick and responsive. It is the same addicting format, in a mini, portable version. The scoring is all on the bottom screen, showing which level, stage, and how many ships you have left. This game is fun for Veteran Space Invader gamers, and it is fun for younger gamers, who just want a good shooter format game, for the DS. Space Invaders Revolution gets a 5/5 Excellent rating, because it is a "Classic Arcade" game, that is still entertaining for all age levels, and gamers with various skill levels. It is a cool game to pick up, and play any where, because of it's simplicity. Have Fun..Play Nintendo DS!

I think the screen is too small for this game. It is a little hard to work the controls as you would a joystick in the real game. Tough to get far in the game, for me anyway. I can't enjoy it!!
