Space Cowboys (DVD, 2001)

This is one of my favorite movies. It shows that just because people get older they shuold not be pushed to one side and forgotten. This all star cast shows they can still do the job, and that they do have the right stuff.

I had a lot of good laughs as these 4 over the hill guys show that age is not always a bad thing. Great acting and special effects. Enjoy!

4 super actors that have been in alot of movies of all sorts come together to 'help mankind'. Just the right mix of everything to keep you interested until the end.

The only thing that seemed obvious....what kind of satelite do you think the Soviets would have up there! Duh!

I love this movie for all the right reasons... it has a bounce of sex old guys showing up the younger full of themselves astronuats, I love it when people use the heads instead of their egos! The story line has multipal short stories going on within it and it even has a love story and a tragic heart warming edging to it. What more could you want out of any movie than all that in a nut shell? I highly recommend it to anyone who loves a good go getem movie!

I found this at the library and our family enjoyed it so much that I bought this copy as a gift for my husband. This is not just for "seniors".

Great movie. A movie where you get to see 4 great actors together. Was really glad I got this movie.

I purchased this Space Cowboys film because I’m a huge fan of Clint Eastwood.
Through the years he has given me really great entertainment. Without his tongue in cheek attitude toward most of the hard stuff in life I would have been armed with much less to deal with life on life’s terms throughout the years.

The film itself was good; I wasn’t disappointed I purchased it. (I know the price was right) He paints an interesting feeling. We come into the film knowing someone in charge of corporate leadership has screwed something up big time.

As usual Clint must step in & be the hero. The remainder of the film is spent getting old Air Force buddies together to correct something that was screwed up by what I see as; “typical management, corporate, & government greed.”

It’s always nice to know that regular guys can get together & fix what years of organization & misguided leadership has screwed up. In a world of organizational chaos; a world where the human element seems to be pushed aside every day; we all need to feel as though maybe this old world still can be run, & kept together by regular honest people that have no agenda other than making a living.

I have been looking for this movie for my husband EVERYWHERE...nobody sells it....I found it on ebay and only paid $6 for it...that was a steal...My husband loves this movie....thank you so much

This is a favorite movie of mine and my husband. Some of our very favorite stars are in this flick. I bought this one because my old one got scratched and we like to watch it about once a year or so! Its realistic and clean and never drags from start to finish!

it is both light hearted and dramatic i love the casts. they work well together. cleint eastwood is super good in the movie.

Its an excellent movie. If you like Clint Eastwood and Tommy Lee Jones You must see this movie. Has great action and comedy. Clint sticks to his rough and tough kind of attitude. Great movie and awesome cast.

What a grear Western John Wayne woul love this movie.A spacecowboy,could you see him playing the lead part? this as a xmas gift for my big brother thanks for having it.

SPACE COWBOYS
we had already seen the movie, but we love it and wanted to have it in our library. the characters are great and we feel it is a movie you can watch over and over. thank you for asking. tarheel46-9212

What I love about this movie is that they have taken older characters and built the story around them.

Baby boomers are currently the largest demographic and with medical advances, we are likely to stay the largest for quite some time to come. So isn't it a good idea to play to your largest audience every so often? This movie does that in a delightful way!

What I did NOT like was having one of the characters suffer from terminal illness. Was it really a sacrifice he made for his crew when he was dying anyway? That was a little trite for my taste.

The chemistry between the actors chosen to play these roles seemed magical from the outset. If it wasn't there, they sure did a good job of making it seem as if they'd been lifelong friends long before being cast for this movie.

I would LOVE to see hollywood make more movies showing that older people have a great deal to contribute when we allow them into our lives without any preconceived notions of what they should or shouldn't be doing, feeling, thinking or saying.

As for sexual energy... I'd take any one of these guys home for the weekend! Wouldn't you? Each one of them is just as delicious as the one standing next to him ~ Who says sex is only for the young?

This is an all-time great film. It has humor, sci-fi, great actors, male rivalry, comedy, and more. It's a must see!

This movie has 4 of the best actors all together on one screen. It will make you laugh and cry throughout the whole movie. It is a must to see and have in your video library.

I hate to be the first to say I didn't really like the movie, however, I really didn't like it. Being a Clint fan, I had to buy it (from the $6.00 bin). I don't think it was worth it. So-so acting, predictable plot and nothing to keep me "on the edge of my seat". There are some great actors in this movie, I just think it could have been done better. I gave it 2 stars. Don't think I'll get a lot of people to agree with me, after reading the other reviews. Oh, well.

Love the cast, the story line. I love the competition between the "has been" astronauts and the young guys, too funny. Donald Sutherland is a riot, its all good. A good family movie or someone who loves space too.

Clint Eastwood, Tommy Lee Jones, Donald Sutherland and James Garner... does on actually have to add anything to it? This is a hysterical movie about a bunch of geriatric test pilots who are called on, reluctantly, by NASA to go up on the shuttle to rescue a failing Russian satellite. It is funny beyond words, but bring tissues for the end... it is a great movie.

I like the movie and want to add to my library. I have a large selection of Comedy,action drama movies and this will be another addition

I bought this movie for my husband. He has always liked it especially since it has Clint Eastwood in it. Since we have had the movie he has watched it at least 25 times. He never gets tired of watching it. I was surprised that it was a brand new movie and not used. It is one of the classics and I am sure he will continue to watch it again and again.
