  The MJ PS2 Game
Review created: 10/05/09

The game was not what my kids expected. It has just become one of the many games that they do not even look at. As far as the transaction itself. It was all done in a timely manner. The seller was great. Thanks.

Showed it to my 8 year old and she went bananas

I first played this game on Dreamcast, (which, I have to say, has smother graphics than the playstation 2, not only on this game but on everything I compared.)
I was looking for a game that my daughter could play, with no violence (compared to what its available now), and that could help in some way her coordination and memory, that is when I remembered this game !!.
You go through several difficulty stages repeating dance moves that aliens make, meaning you have to repeat same movements with same timing with music rhythm. (remember SImon by Milton Bradley ?) same concept, harder and with rhythm, so you cant pause if you forget what move comes next.!, if you get all moves right you save humans form a "hypnotic dance trance"and they follow you to save more humans.
Its been 1 year since she started playing, she has finished both games (Space channel part 1 and part 2), and believe it or not she still finds secret costumes, or secret accessories !, she has become a big Ulala (main character's name)fan.
If you are looking for a very, very different game, with an increasing level of difficulty, and good replay value, get it.

It's a lot harder from what i remember, as a kid! But i still love it! Animation isn't great, but the songs are fun and so are the characters!

An oddball gem. The erratic difficulty curve makes the game frustrating towards the end-- a game this light-hearted should never be that punishingly hard, IMO-- but it's still ridiculous(ly) fun.

2 FULL Game Discs in this Game...

Classic Sega Game with a chick in groovy clothing, Ulala, dancing to fight off aliens.

If you like music rhythm action games, this is for you~

The game's music is so good, it will make you want to purchase the soundtrack!

I still don't get why this is rated T for teen...
Aside from Ulala shooting aliens with a toy-like ray gun that fires green beams and pink hearts... there is absolutely no violence in this game.

This game is an advanced simon saids game, like the one with 4 lights and you repeat the order.

The game is really rhythm orientated... so you have to pay attention the background music if you don't want to miss alot~

This game can get frustrating if you can't beat a level... but try try try~~~

Catchy music. Quirky Japanese game play. Lots of fun. Just like the Dreamcast version. Two games for one!

  This Is A Terrible Game

I bought this game because it is the only US game other than Rez to use the Rez trance vibe thinger.

It's a terrible game... absolutely terrible. I'm not even going to bother trying to come up with witty remarks with which to scathe this steaming pile of goat feces.

This has been very beloved game by my sons and daughters (wide age range - 3 to adult). It's simple enough but draws them in and keeps them interested with it's fun quirkiness.

This is a funky little puzzle game that is simple, fun, and challenging all rolled into one. I enjoy puzzle games and this one includes some great music throughout the game.

I bought this game for my girlfriend. She seems to love it and it keeps her of my back while I do the other things I like to do.

  Fun game, silly, good music
Review created: 02/13/08

This is a game for people who like mashing buttons in rhythm. Not me, but my wife loves it. I like to watch her play because the story is silly and fun, and the music is upbeat. I play it on the PS3 and it looks pretty good once you get past the intro. Plus, you get 2 games super cheap. The original SC5 that was on the Dreamcast, plus the Part Two that was only on the PS2.
Worth getting (again, if you like that kind of game).

  Family Fun
Review created: 01/03/07

This is a great family game. It teaches while having fun. You have to learn to keep the beat of the music and singing in order to win. It allows 1 or 2 players. 2player mode helps with team work skills. If you want to have fun and be silly with the kiddos this is the game to get!

Great game for dudes and chics, great at parties when everybody is nice adn buzzed. The controls are great, the character does exactly what you command. playability is really good. Requires good use of memory and perfect timing. This game is great for casual players and gamers alike. Graphics are as good as the platform allows.

Ulala's Report Show: A swinging game!!!
Review created: 06/05/06
by:

I love the new features like playing instruments, and the ability to use different outfits for Ulala. I was not pleased with some of the words used in this game verse the first one, nor was I happy about the inability to understand all of the commands some of the characters gave (that had to copied correctly). I purchased this game after my husband told me that I would like it; and I did!!! I would buy this game for a friend who is into music, dance, and video games. ^_^
