I like the Soyo dvd/vcr player very much. It meets my need for a vcr player because my kids have alot of older programs and movies on vcr tapes. The unit works fine. he only problem I've had is the remote does not work.

If you are familiar with the Go Video family of players and recorders, you will continue to be happy with this combo system. It features a progressive scan DVD player and 4 head VCR. It supports DVD- and + R and R/W in addition to CDs and MP3s as well as your JPEG files. You can view your pictures on the T.V. As you find with all GoVideo products the Audio In/Out on the front so you can plug in your video your camer or other external AV device.

Good Experience just not what I was really looking for.Over all it was good. I just wanted a DVD recorder with the VHS player and I got the reverse. I don't see why I have to be verbose with my review. I say what I mean & mean what i say. If it takes less than 100 words so be it.

When I recieved the VHS/DVD player from this seller, the DVD player did not work, I'm glad the VHS player worked so I can, at least, use part of my purchase. I realize the player was sold "as is" but I feel the seller should have been upfront about the DVD player. I won't buy from this seller again and I caution others to get some kind of return agreement.

IT vas model I was looking for,price was good . Did not work 100% but enough to live with it was pack well shipping not bad .although there was a problem with the first order,not being model addv. IT seem's to be taken care of

I am bummed. As the happy owner of a GoVideo VHS duplicator, I assumed that the same company could make an equally reliable VHS to DVD transfer unit. AFTER my eBay purchase (for $15.55), I read so many negative reviews, that I have not even plugged the unit in to test it. Instead, I am about to purchase a new Samsung unit which has received generally favorable reviews.

This product did not include the owner's manual, making it difficult to set up.
It was a gift to my husband, who is not completely ignorant, but it would have been very helpful to have instructions.

excellent, BUT!!
) the general review is excellent, but the return policy is a litte off to me. You get a product save it for a gift, then the product isn't what they say it is. Example: works perfect, give as gift and something doesn't work perfect. Try to return, or repace it, and can't. They say time period is up. If the poroduct isn't perfect, you should be able to return due to the fact that the product wasn't perfect as stated. This really bothers me about buying things through ebay. I know it is the sellers falt not ebay, but I wish there was something you could do to make them take the item back or replace it.
