Movie Description
21st century New York City is (still) an overpopulated mess, and the only food left is Soylent Green, a soybean and lentil concoction with an extra-special, government-mandated ingredient. As police detective Thorn (Charlton Heston) investigates a murder, he learns of a conspiracy with bizarre implications. This Edward G.     THE Classic... they still haven't made a better sci-fi movie on the problem of overpopulation since this one!

    Charlton Heston in a stand-out role, altho it was parodied from 'Mad' Magazine to TV shows when it first came out!

    Recommended viewing, at least as a rental!
