My neighbor had a copy of this book and I was constantly borrowing it. I didn't think I'd be able to find one but low and behold there it was on Ebay. It covers so many types of plants which we can use here in North Carolina with instructions for planting and propergation. Very pleased having it because

I love this book because living in the south, Texas, we have a whole different set of rules when it comes to plants and this book addresses these factors. Also the pictures are beautiful. The plant descriptions are right on the money. This book is my bible when I buy a new plant or think about buying a new plant, I look here first. I bought this particular copy as a gift for my sister who moved here from Arizona. She did not do much gardening there and was at a loss as to what to grow here. She used my copy and liked it so I got her one of her very own.
