Southern Living Cookbook

I collect cookbooks, so I thought the Southern Living 1991 Annual Recipes seemed like a good choice to buy. However, it's not really the style cookbook that I like most. It has lots of recipes, some pictures, and some tips. I guess what I don't like as much about this book is that it has lots more recipes than it has pictures. Also, the pages are not slick, so they don't wipe off easily. When preparing a new dish, I like to see a picture before starting. Sometimes, I will or will not prepare a new dish just because of how it looks! This book has LOTS of recipes, so if that's what you're looking for it's just the book for you. I'm from the South, and I haven't found many of the recipes in this book to have much of a southern flair. It does, however, have several entertaining tips. It's not a bad book, but it's just not a favorite of mine.
