Southern Country Cooking From The Loveless Cafe by Jane Stern, Michael Stern (2005, Hardcover)

My husband and I were in Nashville, TN in April and we ate at the Loveless Cafe where we had the best biscuits I have ever eaten. I own a number of cooking books written by Jane and Michael Stern and I think that they do a great job of putting these books together. I saw their book on the Loveless Cafe while we were in Nashville and I knew that the recipe for the Loveless Cafe biscuits was not in the book as it is a closely guarded secret. I don't like paying full price for anything so I decided to see if I could find the book at a reduced price on eBay and I did. I love the book. It has many interesting Southern recipes and I've tried two of them: corn fritters and peach scones. Both these items were delicious. I was very pleased with the service that I received from the seller who sold me this brand new book at a reduced price.

Great book for the Southern women to get suggestions for their cookbook collection. Don't look for the biscuit recipe in this though, not included, must be a secret recipe. The pictures and information alone is worth picking this cookbook up.

I thought this cookbook was beautiful. I collect them & enjoy reading them much more than trying all of the recipes! I was hoping to see regional recipes & I wasn't disappointed. With all of my collection, I don't have some of these recipes. I enjoyed it.
