basically its kart racing under a different name and a different theme bu thte same old same old. its sad really but this genre is looking dated and cliche. south park tries with its witty banter but gets tiring after a day or 2

Cruise through "South Park Forest," "Big Gay Al's Big Gay Animal Sanctuary," "Downtown South Park," and many other familiar scenes from Comedy Central's hit cartoon series. A twist on the standard racing game, SOUTH PARK RALLY is as much a treasure hunt as it is a speed contest you have to seek out hidden items in order to notch a win. All of your favorite SOUTH PARK characters are here, including Cartman on his famous police tricycle, and Chef in his station wagon. You'll have to reach deep into your bag of tricks to thwart the competition using weapons like Mexican staring frogs, chocolate salty balls, and Mr. Hanky to inflict damage on other vehicles. The shows' stars, Trey Parker, Matt Stone, and Isaac Hayes, have lent their voices to the game, and the result is an experience that is reminiscent of the show but unique as a game. If you like gross-out comedy in your videogames, don't pass this one up.

Great game, but a little confusing.It's a bit confusing until you learn the courses and how to fully control your guy. This is as much fun or more, than your regular racing game.

South Park Rally - Tough, but funI love South Park. This game was not well thought out though. You have to get 1st place in every race to unlock the next one. Getting 1st place is difficult especially since the tracks are confusing with no clear direction. I've never used the map so much in a kart racing game. The weapons are fun & hilarious. The Hooker weapon is the main thing that makes the game inappropriate for children. This games difficulty makes it a lot less fun than the other South Park games (Chef's Luv Shack & The FPS) & other kart racing games.

Last month (February) I sat down and took a look at Acclaim Entertainment s latest attempt to bring the South Park license into the homes of PCs. Unfortunately, as Acclaim has done with its past two South Park-based games, South Park Rally fell face first onto the concrete hard. When South Park Rally was first announced the game certainly had promise to rise up above the problems that went wrong with the other titles, but again it seems that the game has been rushed to meet demand and make the quick buck, thus leaving us with another trashy game. Yes, the wonderful game makers at Ack-Lame (company motto: "Twice as Good as HeadGames") are doing their level best to shred yet ANOTHER promising franchise. Last time I checked in, they were trashing the ECW license with their horrendous ECW Hardcore Revolution, but in one respect they had an advantage there: there aren't that many wrestling games out there. However, South Park Rally is a cart game, and anybody can tell you there are HUNDREDS of cart games out there, so automatically SPR has to stack up against some pretty heavy hitters (Mario Kart 64 leading the pack). I rented this game at Blockbuster. After trying to figure out how to play it for half an hour, I turned off my 64 and READ. I loved the first southpark game, but this one is just not fun. You get the feeling that they made it just in hopes that the people who buy all of the other merchandise would go BUY it before trying it. The game does not play like normal racing games. I still really don't know how you finish a race once you have started it. My friend brought over south park rally and i figured it would be an average cart race game. Wrong this isn't a racing game this is a game still being made it just somehow got prematurely released! You don't even really race in this game its just a mad scramble to collect checkpoints strewn all over an area! I'll admit i'm not a big fan of racing games but there still fun to play once in awhile but... ...its games like this that makes me wanna yell: "Stop making racing games make anything else just not racing." the only reason that i can think of any one rateing this game as good is they like the t.v. show. and they like it so much they are blinded by how bad this game is. the game play is bad and you dont know were your supposed to go, and for a racing game, its just not fun they put this game out just to take advantage of the diehard fans of the show. So to give you guys my epinion, this is one of those games you play once, and leave it in the closet. To (almost) quote Cartman: "Race is never finished, massa got me workin', somday massa give me a cheat. this game sucks
