I remember when South Park was all about Chef making love. This game takes me back to those high school days of Mr. Hanky The Christmas Poo, and "Respect My...." and so on and so on.

As for the game, I think its N64's best trvia game. Def a good buy!

It's like South Park Jeopardy.
The one thing about this game is the following;
After you play it a few times, you can buzz in before the question scrolls across the screen, then choose the correct answer from the list.
They should have added more subjects.

The mini-games are so-so, but eh,

It's not bad or good really..

  south park: chef's luv shack
Review created: 08/25/09

the concept of chef's luv shack is that of a game show similar to jeopardy and the like. the execution is by all means putrid. its not even a game. its an exercise is masochism.

My brothers and I used to play this game all the time. When I saw it on ebay, I had to have it. Upon telling my brothers and friends that I bought it, they decided to make the Super Bowl party at my house so we can play at halftime. Great, fun game!!

Luv Shack is the way to Smack down your Mate!

We are old people- still loving the nintendo 64 games-never upgraded-and have not played vidio games in years. Playing games with my husband is hard cause he sucks at most games and I feel guilty for kicking his ass~
In this game I can be Cartman and & can kill Kenny(my husband) as many times as I want and get away with it hehehe~. This is the only game we like to play together- it is SouthPark version of You Dont Know Jack- but so much more SOUTHPARK! My husband wins in this game-which is nice for him. I do not have to let him win-he kicks ass all on his own. This game is FUN! It is easy to learn-but not too easy that it gets old. I love the lil compitition games between rounds..so fun!
WE Love this game..excellent adult fun!

  Don't Buy This Game!!
Review created: 05/02/00
by: AVaddict -- a member of Epinions

Pros:
At the most it is mildly amusing

Cons:
Unfortunate graphics, predictable questions, circa 1990 programming quality, very few/repetitive voice samples, shall I go on. . . . .

There are a few key things wrong with this game. One) Graphics: they aren't true to the cartoon. The images simply don't look like Cartman, Kenny, Garrison, etc. The only one that even comes vaguely close is Chef. There are only a few facial expressions which are too simple to justify their small quantity...how bout some variation. Two) Predictability: it wasn't five minutes of playing this game that I was running into the same trivia questions, and consequently the same "mini-games". Not only is this repetitive, but it takes all the challenge out of the game. This is especially true when...

If Mario Party is the House, then this is DEFINITELY the Shack!
Review created: 05/17/01

Pros:
Many mini-games are decent, catergory names, funny for the first few go's.

Cons:
Too... many... repeat... questions, awful single-player mode, uninspired character graphics.

Chef's Luv Shack is a cross of Mario Party and You Don't know Jack, with none of the quality of either intact. It adds some South Park flare, and does deliver for about three hours, but afterwards becomes a total waste of time, money, and concept afterwards. While it still may qualify as a *passable* party game for older kids and teens even later on, single-player gameplay fizzles out without a single reddeming quality. I'll start out by briefly describing the technicalities-- the graphics, sound, and control. The graphics are exactly what you'd expect from a South Park game-- bright and...

Chef's Luv Shack: Worth at least a rental
Review created: 05/15/00
by: KingJFS -- a member of Epinions

Pros:
The Fun Mini-Games

Cons:
Awful single player mode, limited number of questions

Chef's Luv Shack was the second South Park game produced and after the pure and total c*** that is the first South Park game anything would be an improvement. Chef's Luv Shack takes all your favorite South Park characters and transplants them into a cheesy looking 70's game show hosted by Chef. Now a lot of people say that the cheese factor makes the graphics "suck." But I think it just adds to the corny humor of the game. So you answer questions and then get to play great mini-games in between rounds. And this is where Chef's Luv Shack shines. The mini-games are great fun. Most of them are...

  No Love for Luv Shack
Review created: 05/04/00
by: mrsscrooge -- a member of Epinions

Pros:
funny moments, fun mini games

Cons:
repetitive, annoying, cheap production all around

I'm a South Park fanatic. I've been following it since it was a little animated cartoon, eventually branching out into the huge success that it is today. I've got a giant stuffed Cartman doll, South Park shot glasses, South Park magnets, etc, etc. I download episodes. I talk in various character voices to amuse myself. However.... I rented this game a few nights ago from the local Blockbuster, thinking to myself how cute it looked. Trivia and mini-games sounded like a good way to spend my evening. Alas, the game was tossed back into it's container after about 3 games worth, more or less an..

  Worth Renting
Review created: 01/02/00
by: ozmodiar192 -- a member of Epinions

Pros:
Fun, good waste of time

Cons:
Not enough questions

Chef's Love Shack is a trivia/quiz show game based on the TV show South Park. It's worth playing for a little while, especially if you have a few people to play with. There's also little mini games that you play between rounds, some very reminiscent of the Atari classics we all know and love. The good: The questions range from easy to hard, so everyone has a chance. Some is South Park trivia, some is general trivia. The games are fun, including rip-offs of Asteroids, Warlords, Donkey Kong, and Space Invaders. There's also a few others. There's pressure rounds where you have to choose which...
