I love depche mode and have almost all of their cd's but this one seems to not be up to par. There is a similarity between all songs. It seems they tried to mesh their early 80's style with the last album and it became redundant. It's okay just not typical depeche mode. Hopefully the next will be better.

There wasn't much to like. The music was depressing and I couldn't even get through the whole CD. DM shoulda waited until after the tour to put something out as this was unfocused and very unsatisfying.
