Soulcalibur II (Xbox, 2003)

This is an awesome fighting game. I liked the first one, and i like this one. A very good alternate to Mortal Kombat. Perfect for the Ninja in me. Awe inspiring graphics, smooth controls and good in game options make this game a winner. I will enjoy playing this game for years to come. I give this game a B.

Awesome game. Challenging single player modes with endless missions to accomplish. More challenging when playing a friend. Not too violent for young players. I've played SC2 in arcades, PS2, and a little on Game Cube, the XBOX version is my favorite.

my kids love this game they have been playing it for years . i to some times get in on the action.i bought this game for the fun the action . really great price for this game

Spawn is a playable character only on the xbox system and like you might imagine it does not disappoint soul calibur does it again this time with Spawn as a guest fighter.

I absolutely love this game...the graphics are great, the characters are way cool and the complexity is great for ANY user.

this game is what it is awesome play for an original xbox...there is a bit of sketchy parts depending on what map or what character you are fighting on an xbox360

El Arcade original fue lanzado en julio del 2002. El juego en sí no presenta muchas variaciones respecto de su antecesor, salvo mejoras gráficas y nuevos personajes. El arcade cuenta con 4 distintas actualizaciones (reconocidas por una letra distinta) que fueron arreglando errores y problemas del sistema.
Soulcalibur II fue desarrollado para las consolas PlayStation 2, Nintendo GameCube y XBox, con el agregado de un personaje exclusivo para cada una, conocidos como Guest Characters o Personajes Invitados:
La versión de GameCube incluye a Link, de la saga The Legend of Zelda
La versión de PlayStation 2 incluye a Heihachi de los juegos de lucha Tekken
La versión de X-Box incluye a Spawn, el superhéroe principal de los comics realizados por Todd McFarlane.
Si bien esto atrajo la atención de público nuevo a la franquicia, muchos de los fanáticos veteranos lo consideraron una estrategia para aumentar las ventas.
En aspectos de jugabilidad, Soulcalibur II no difiere mucho de Soul Calibur y retiene la mayoría de sus aspectos. Los cambios más importantes se vieron en el paso o "Step" (movimiento), que fue fortalecido, el desarrollo de un Soul Charge (que aumenta el poder de daño) con 3 etapas de carga distintas, y la inclusión de muros en los niveles, y con ellos una nueva variación de estrategias centradas en los mismos.
Debido a los poco cambios en el sistema de combate, el juego es considerado generalmente como "Soulcalibur Version II".

This is an awsome game and hard to find in game stores as the original xbox console games are basically obsolete.

Runs like a charm on the 360. The game itself is very beautiful graphically and it is only enhanced by the 360 power. The only down thing is that it doesn't offer widescreen (16:9 aspect) support.

Excellent graphics, fast paced game. Exactally as was described. Color scheme was great. Great for all ages.

This is one of the best fighting games hands down.

Game has great graphics, story lines, sound quality, extras, and the weapon quest mode is amazing. Also the controls are very responsive and make it feel very very smooth. The list of characters is this game is also very good. Be warned there are some pretty challenging parts that can be extremely frustrating. Overall, the gaming experience is one that is well worth it. If you enjoy playing fighters, I highly recommend this. Your collection should not be complete without it.

This is an excelent game, me and my son love to play it almost more than any other game we have. Seller had gopod price and good shipping, came on time, everything was great.

The best feature I think is the fact the "xbox" verison had Spawn as there head hancho character.I mean who dosen't like Spawn...There is alot of fun and ways u can customize ur fighting skills and unlock weapons for all the characters in this game not to mention hidden characters to be unlocked and fighting areas.If u are a fan of the fighting genre I would give Soulcalibur 2 a chance.For all u other gamers this title is also for ps2 and gamecube.

-This is one of my favorite One-on-One fighting games. You have many choices, ranging from Arcade Mode, a standard 8-fight brawl, to my mode of choice, Weapon Master Mode, a mode in which you travel to many different lands, acquiring weapons, defeating foes (sometimes under special condition) and making money.
Aside from the two previous modes, there is VS Battle, a mode where you can duke it out with your friends using your favorite characters, Time Attack, a mode where your battle time is recorded, Survival, a mode where you can find out how many foes you can K.O. before you are K.O.’d., Team Battle, a tag team mode where you have up to three characters on your team, VS Team Battle, a multiplayer team battle, and practice, a mode to sharpen your skills.
After buying them at the shop in weapon master mode, you obtain new weapons. You can buy many weapons for each character. How ever you can’t use them in the Original section. You must unlock the Extra Sections to use your extra weapons outside Weapon Master Mode.

MY NEPHEW LOVES THIS GAME.I DECIDED LO BUY IT FOR HIM FOR HIS BIRTHDAY, THE ONLY BAD THING ABOUT IT IS THAT THE NEWEST VERSION SOULCALIBUR 3 IS ONLY ON PS2 AND NOT ON XBOX.
